    Operating Instructions
    SETUP
    The unit operates on one ‘C’ siz e R14 bat tery that has a life expectancy in excess of one year .  
    R emo ve the bat tery cover and t the R1 4 battery into the cor rect position. Replace the battery cover.
    INTR ODUCTION
    A CCUSPLIT products use a common set ting procedure called S1-2-3-4.  
    S1 = enter the set ting mode
    S2 = c hange the eld to be set
    S3 = c hange the eld value(s)
    S4 = exit the set ting mode
    T O SET CL OCK AND D ATE
    S1 - Slide the switc h to the CLOCK SET (labeled as  “SET”) position.
    S3 -  To set the time, press and hold the hour and minute but tons separately to fast forward to the correct
           time. P ress the second but ton to zero the second display .
    S3 -  To c hange between 1 2 and 24 displays, press the SPLIT/RESET but ton.
    S2 -  To set the date display , press the STAR T/S TOP but ton to alter the display . 
    S3 -  To adjust the day , date and month, press the HOUR, MINUTE & SECOND BUTT ONS respectively.
    T O SET  ALARM
    S2 - Slide the switc h to the ALARM (ringing alarm cloc k icon) position.
    S3 - S et the alarm by pressing the HOUR & MINUTE but tons.
    T urn the alarm function on by pressing the CLEAR but ton. The alarm sign will show on the le ft of the display .
    T o turn the alarm sound of f, press either of the top but tons.
    T o turn the alarm function of f, with the slide switc h at ALARM, press the CLEAR but ton.
    T O OPERA TE STOPW ATCH
    Slide the switc h to the Stopw atch icon (COUN T UP) position.
    There are four modes of count up that are selectable, whic h can be changed by pressing the HOUR but ton.
      STW      1 second to 23 hour s, 59 minutes, 59 seconds.
      STW + 1/1 00s     1/100 second to 59 minutes, 59.99 seconds
      STW + DS     1/100 second to 9999.99 seconds
      STW + DM     1/100 minute to 1 999.99 minutes
    The count up function operates using the S TAR T/S TOP but tons with a lap option by pressing the
    SPLIT/RESET but ton. When the lap is being held the display shows SPL abo ve the seconds display. T o
    restar t the count up af ter the lap time has been noted, press the SPLIT/RESET but ton. To stop and set
    the time bac k to zero, press the S TAR T/S TOP but ton and then the RESET but ton.
    T O OPERA TE MEMOR Y TIMER
    S2 - Slide the switc h to the hourglass icon (TIMER) position.  
    S3 - P ress the HOUR MINUTE & SECOND but tons to set the time period required. If an er ror in setting
    occur s, press the RESET but ton and start again.  The memory facility will display MEM on the right of the
    display , after set ting the unit and before pressing the S TAR T but ton. When the set time has elapsed an
    alarm will sound, whic h is turned off by pressing the S TOP but ton. After the alarm has sounded, the
    display will count up the time tak en to turn off the alarm. After the S TOP but ton has been pressed at the
    end of the count down period, the last timing period that is stored in t\
    he memory is displayed.
    The timing period can be stopped (”T ime Out”) and re-started (”Time In”) by pressing the S TAR T/S TOP but ton.
