Overview Addonics IDE /CF Converter Board is a converter solution for the IDE port to have CF card interface. It has a standard 44-pin IDE port, which can interface to IDE host side and 50-pin Compact Flash socket in device side. This is a convenient interface that allows Compact Flash modules to be use d in any system that h as a standar d IDE 44 pin Connector. Features · Simple plug and play, no drivers required · Compatible with 98SE, Me, 2000, XP · Support CompactFlashT M cards (Type I & II) or IBM M icrodriveTM · Transparent to the operating system and does not require any drive rs · The CF card can be the primary booting device co ntaining th e OS and application Installation Step 1. Connect the Embedded IDE-CF Adapter to the IDE slot on the m otherboard. Master or Slave port. Step 2. Insert a CF card o r Micro drive before turning the sy stem on. Important: IDE interface cannot support hot swap. When you insert or remove a CF card, Please power off the system.
