The ADS Hyk\fon is a simple-to-use leak 
listening system with high acoustic 
sensitivity. It is the ideal tool fo\f a wate\f 
c\few’s standa\fd tool chest.  Leak noise 
t\favels th\fough the wate\f and the pipe 
wall. It can be detected by listening at 
valves, hyd\fants, o\f any available fitting 
on the pipe. The Hyk\fon detects the 
leak noise th\fough its high sensitivity 
senso\f. Listening is conducted via the 
headphones with an extension \fod and 
magnetic attachment.

Operation of the ADS H\Cykron
Conne\ftors
Plug the handheld senso\f into the lowe\f \fight socket of the amplifie\f. The left-side socket is used to 
connect the headphones.
Battery
The amplifie\f is powe\fed by a non-\fecha\fgeable alkaline 9V cell. This can be easily \feplaced by \femoving the cove\f at the top of the 
back of the amplifie\f. A new batte\fy will give app\foximately 60 hou\fs continuous use.

Operation
1.     Plug the senso\f into the amplifie\f.
2.     Plug the headphones into the amplifie\f.
3.     Attach the extension \fods o\f the magnet to the senso\f unit. Position the \fod onto the pipe o\f g\found.
4.     P\fess and hold the p\fess-to-listen button.
5.     Listen to the sound in the headphones.
6.     Release the p\fess-to-listen button.
\b.     Move the senso\f to the next listening location and \fepeat the listening p\focess.
Afte\f use, \femove the \fods and magnet f\fom the senso\f and disconnect the senso\f f\fom the amplifie\f. Disconnect the headphones. 
Clean the equipment as \fequi\fed and \fetu\fn all the components to the ca\f\fying case.
