    SAFETY FEATURES
 Torque reaction is virtually eliminated to reduce wrist injury to operator and create ergonomic working env ironment.
 Optimum torque accuracy and repeatability.
 Uniform fastening torque with narrow mean - shift torque for hard and soft joints.
     Uryu quality and design.
    TORQUE ADJUSTMENT
    1. For all angle (C type) tools, except ALPHA - C*, the angle casing assemb ly must be removed for internal adjustment. To do so, remove the three
front bolts on the angle head casing.
    2. Remove 4mm or 5mm Allen plug in front casing.
    3. Rotate anvil manually until torque adjuster (1.5mm to 3mm Allen screw) is exposed directly in line wi th opening in front casing. Caution : Do
not remove round head oil filler plug.)
    4. Turn torque adjuster (1.5mm to 3mm Allen screw) clockwise to increase torque and counter - clockwise to decrease torque output. Use
AIM/Uryu authorized test equipment for best re sults.
    5. Maximum torque - turn torque adjuster (1.5mm to 3mm Allen screw) clockwise until it bottoms out and back off approximately one and a half
turns to set an effective maximum torque for the ALPHA & UX series and one half of a turn to set effective maxi mum torque for the U series.
    * The ALPHA - C has a knurled band under the angle head that can be pushed up to expose an opening in the angle casing where the torque adj uster
    can be adjusted through.
    AIR SUPPLY
LINE SIZE : 3/8” to 1/2” drive should use 3/8” ID line and 3/4” to 1” drive should use 1/2” ID line.
    AIR PRESSURE : Use air pressure 5.0 - 6.0 Kgf/cm 2
(70 - 85 PSI) for optimum performance. Caution : Never use higher air pressure to increase the
output of the tool. Overloading will drastically shorten the li fe of all internal parts.
DRY AND CLEAN AIR : Drain daily, and install filter at or near the take - off point to prevent trouble from foreign matter.
AIR HOSE AND JOINTS : Use air hose (the shorter, the better), joints, and other fittings of good condition and of proper size to avoid pressure drop.
    LUBRICATION
FOR AIR MOTOR : Supply light Turbine Oil properly through Air Inlet or line lubricator before and after every operations. For example, Mobil
Turbine Oil #32, Shell Turbine Oil #32 and/or equivalent.
FOR B EARINGS : Supply recommended high - quality grease (e.g., Shell Alvania No. 2, Mobilplex 2 and/or equivalent) properly once every three
months and when the tool is overhauled.
    MAINTENANCE
REGULAR OVERHAUL : It is recommended that after every 150,000 pulsing se conds or 180 days the fluid in the tool’s pulse unit be changed. It
is also recommended at such time to grease the bearings in the air motor. If the presence of water is noted, it is recommende d that a small amount of
oil be run through the air motor to w ash out any rust residue in the air motor. It is recommended that after every 300,000 pulsing seconds or 365 days
that a pulse unit repair kit be installed in the pulse unit. This also allows the inspection of hard parts in the pulse unit.
GENUINE PARTS : T he use of other than genuine AIMCO replacement parts may result in safety hazards, decreased tool performance, and
increased maintenance and may invalidate all warranties.
