Using Your BizTouch 3 Headset 
This reference sheet tells you how to set up and use your BizTouch 3 headset.
Attaching your headset to your BizTouch 3
1. Plug the headset connector into the headset jack on your BizTouch3. 
Slide the handsfree output control (located on right side of telephone) to the headset setting. 
When you use HANDSFREE, an icon showing the current handsfree mode appears on the LCD display.
NOTE:You must select the HANDSFREE mode (Speaker or Headset) before making a call.
2. Place the headset on your head and adjust the headband for a comfortable fit.
3. Adjust the microphone arm so that the microphone is two finger widths away from the corner of your mouth.
4. Attach the clothing clip to your clothing so that the weight of the cord is not pulling on the headset.
NOTE:The headset cord has a quick connect feature. Disconnecting the quick connect will not hang up your call.
Making a call while using the headset
1. Press HANDSFREE and wait for the dial tone.
2. Adjust volume if needed by using  .
3. Press HANDSFREE again to hang up the phone.
Receiving a call while use the headset
1. Press HANDSFREE instead of picking up the handset when the phone rings.
2. Adjust volume if needed by using  .
3. Press HANDSFREE again to hang up the phone.
Switching between the headset and the handset
You can switch between the headset and handset while the phone is dialing a number, or anytime during a conversation.
• Headset to handset: pick up the handset.
 Handset to headset: Press HANDSFREE, then hang up the handset. 
 Switching between the BizTouch 3 speakerphone and handset is is done the same way when the handsfree output 
control is in speakerphone mode.
NOTE:Be sure to press HANDSFREE before hanging up the handset or you will disconnect the call.

New headsets are warranted for one year from the date of purchase. All warranties are voided if the units have been damaged 
by misuse, tampering, accidents, or alteration. For warranty repairs, call 299.
