Remove the back cover
If you need to insert SIM and memory cards, remove the 
back cover.
Note:  Don’t use tools to remove the cover—doing so may 
damage your phone.
Remove the battery and put in the cards
Your 4G nano SIM card is already installed in your phone. 
If you need to replace the SIM card or insert an optional 
microSD memory card, follow these instructions.
Caution:  Make sure you use the correct size SIM cards

Put on the cover & power on
Put on the back cover. Charge your phone fully and turn the 
power on. Then select your language and follow the screen 
prompts to get started.
Warning:  Please use only an approved charging accessory 
to charge your phone. Improper handling of the charging 
port, as well as the use of an incompatible charger, may 
cause damage to your phone and void the warranty.

• Display timeout delay: Tap Apps  >  Settings > 
Display > Sleep > (shorter setting).
• Activity of seldom used apps: Tap Apps  >  Settings 
> Battery, then tap Menu  > Battery optimization > All 
apps. Tap the app you want to adjust, then tap Optimize.
• Widgets that stream information to your home screen, 
like news or weather.
• Unused online accounts that you registered: Tap Apps  >  Settings > Accounts. Tap the account you want to

• Wi-Fi network: For faster Internet access or to conserve 
mobile data use, swipe the status bar down with two 
fingers, then tap
