Hardware Installation: 
Step 1.  Connect  the 2-pin power cable to the 2-pin power connector on the adapter. Be sure 
to connect the red wire to the pin with +5V label.  
Step 2.  Connect a SATA cable to the SATA connector on the adapter and the other 
end to the SATA device.

                                                    Hardware Installation: 
Step 1: Plug in the Embedded IDE- Dual SATA Port Converter on the IDE 
controller on the motherboard.
 
Step 2: Using a 4-pin floppy power cable from the power supply, connect it to the 
4-pin floppy power connector on the Embedded IDE- Dual SATA Port Converter. 
This will provide power to the converter.
Step 3: Connect a SATA drive to the SATA port 1 of the converter. This drive will 
show up as a master device in the motherboard BIOS.

                                                    Note:    Before installing the ADSALVD160, you need to set up the SCSI host adapter 
first. Once the SCSI host adapter had been configured and detected by the system, 
you can now follow the instructions below.
