  •
 Ensure gutter syste m is clean and free of debris 
•  Inspect gutter ha ngers, e nsuri ng:  
   - tightly fastened to fascia and attached to gutter
   - m inim um one  hanger every 24 inches  
 •
 Install fi rst Diam ond Gutter Shield
® at beginning of gutter run 
•  Measure 2 inches from  end of Shield 
•  Cut and re move a notch fro m front and back edges 
•  Cut a line 2 long down...
                                            
                                                    Tools that may be required:
•   Tin snips or hacksaw to miter cut corners and cut pieces to length
•    Pliers to bend the lip of the gutter around gutter spikes
•    Power screw driver
  Starting at one end of the gutter, slightly lift the first row of shingles 
and slide the back edge of the gutter cover under the shingles (Fig. A), 
then pull the front edge of The Gutter Shingle forward so that it clips to 
the front edge of the gutter. (Fig. B) Note: If there is not enough space

                                                    Gutter guards
are  instal led on rain  gu tters  to 
help  pr ev ent  leaves,  twigs  and 
other  debris  from fal ling  into  the 
gu tters  and  clogging  both  the 
gu tters and downspouts.
