    Connecting to an Antenna or Cable
    Connect an antenna, cable, or cable box to watch TV while referring to t\
    he following. The illustrations may differ from the actual items and a RF cable is optional.
     yMake sure not to bend the copper wire of the RF cable.

     yComplete all connections between devices, and then connect the power cord to the power outlet to prevent damage to your TV.

     yIf you record a TV program on a DVD recorder or VCR, make sure to connec\

    provided with the connected device.

    HDMI
    Connecting to an HD receiver, DVD Player, or VCR
    Connect an HD receiver, DVD Player, or VCR to the TV and select an appro\
    priate input mode.
    HDMI Connection
    HDMI is the best way to connect a device.
    Transmits digital video and audio signals from an external device to the\
     TV. Connect the external device and the TV with the HDMI cable as shown in the following illustration.
     
    y Use the latest High Speed HDMI™ Cable that supports CEC (Customer El\
    ectronics Control) function. 
     
    y High Speed HDMI™ Cables are tested to carry an HD signal up to 1080p \
    and higher.
     
    y HDMI Audio Supported Format: PCM (Up to 192 kHz, 32 kHz / 44.1 kHz / 48\
     kHz / 96 kHz / 192 kHz)
     
    y When you use an HDMI cable (HDMI port3), it is recommended that you us\

    Connecting to a Mobile Phone
    Mobile High-definition Link (MHL) is an interface for transmitting dig\
    ital audio/visual signals from mobile phones to television sets.
     
    y Connect the mobile phone to the HDMI/DVI IN 4 (MHL) port to view the p\
    hone screen on the TV.
     
    y This only works with an MHL-enabled phone.
     
    y With some MHL supporting mobile phones, you can use the TV remote to con\
    trol the phone.  
     
    y An MHL passive cable is needed to connect the TV and a mobile phone.

    Connecting a PC
     
    y Use an HDMI connection for the best image quality.
     
    y Depending upon the graphics card, DOS mode video may not work if a HDMI \
    to DVI Cable is in use.
     
    y In PC mode, there may be noise associated with the resolution, vertical patter\
    n, contrast or brightness. If noise is present, 
    change the PC output to another resolution, change the refresh rate to a\
    nother rate or adjust the brightness and contrast on the 
    PICTURE menu until the picture is clear.
     
    y The synchronization input form for Horizontal and Vertical frequencies i\
    s separate.
     
    y Depending upon the graphics card, some resolution settings may not allow\
     the image to be positioned on the screen properly.
     
    y If you are using DVI out from a PC, you have to connect analog audio sep\
    arately. Refer to the instructions on the next page.
     
    y When using the HDMI/DVI cable, Single link is only supported.
     
    y If Ultra HD content is played on your PC, video or audio may become disr\
