    Read these nstructons carefully. Keep ths document for future reference. Follow all warnngs and nstructons marked on the product.        Caution for plug as disconnecting device Observe the followng gudelnes when connectng and dsconnectng power to the external power supply unt:• Install the power supply unt before connectng the power cord to the AC power outlet.• Unplug the power cord before removng the power supply unt from the projector.• If the system has multple sources of power, dsconnect power from the system by unpluggng all power cords from the power supples. 
     Caution for AccessibilityBe sure that the power outlet you plug the power cord nto s easly accessble and located as close to the equpment operator as possble. When you need to dsconnect power to the equpment, be sure to unplug the power cord from the electrcal outlet.

    Using electrical power• Ths product should be operated from the type of power ndcated on the markng label. If you are not sure of the type of power avalable, consult your dealer or local power company.• Do not allow anythng to rest on the power cord. Do not locate ths product where people wll walk on the cord.• If an extenson cord s used wth ths product, make sure that the total ampere ratng of the equpment plugged nto the extenson cord does not exceed the extenson cord ampere ratng. Also, make sure that the total ratng of all products plugged nto the wall outlet does not exceed the fuse ratng.• Do not overload a power outlet, strp or receptacle by pluggng n too many devces. The overall system load must not exceed 80% of the branch crcut ratng. If power strps are used, the load should not exceed 80% of the power strp's nput ratng.• This product's AC adapter is equipped with a three-wire grounded plug. The plug only fits in a grounded power outlet. Make sure the power outlet s properly grounded before nsertng the AC adapter plug. Do not nsert the plug nto a non-grounded power outlet.      Additional safety information• Do not look nto the projector's lens when the lamp s on. The brght may hurt your eyes.• Turn on the projector first and then signal sources• Do not place the product n followng envronments:• Space that is poorly ventilated or confined. At least 50cm clearance from walls and free flow of air around the projector is necessary. • Locatons where temperatures may become excessvely hgh, such as nsde of a car wth all wndows rolled up.• Locatons where excessve humdty, dust, or cgarette smoke may contamnate optcal components, shortenng the lfe span and darkenng the mage.• Locations near fire alarms.• Locations with an ambient temperature above 40 ºC/104 ºF.• Locatons where the alttudes are hgher than 10000 feet.• Unplug mmedately f there s somethng wrong wth your projector. Do not operate f smoke, strange nose or odor comes out of your projector. It might cause fire or electric shock. In this case, unplug immediately and contact your dealer.• Do not keep usng ths product to break or drop t. In ths case contact your dealer for nspecton.• Do not face the projector lens to the sun. It can lead to fire.• When swtchng the projector off, suggest to ensure the projector completes ts coolng cycle before dsconnectng power.• Do not frequrntly turn off the mal power abruptly or unplug the projector durng operaton. The best way s to wat for the fan to turn off before turnng man power off.• Do not touch ar outlet grlle and bottom plate whch becomes hot.• Clean the air filter frequently if have. The temperature inside may rise and cause damage when the filter/ventilation slots clogged with drt or dust.

    • Do not look nto the ar outlet grlle when projector s operatng. It may hurt your eyes.• Always open the lens shutter or remove the lens cap when the projector s on. • Do not block the projector lens wth any object when the projector s under operaton as ths could cause the object to become heated and deformed or even cause a fire. To temporarily turn off the lamp, press HIDE on the remote control.• The lamp becomes extremely hot during operation. Allow the projector to cool for approximately 45 minutes prior to removing the lamp assembly for replacement.• Do not operate lamps beyond the rated lamp lfe. It could cause t to break on rare occasons.• Never replace the lamp assembly or any electronc components unless the projector s unplugged.• The product wll detect the lfe of the lamp tself. Please be sure to change the lamp when s showng warnng message. • When changng the lamp, please allow unt to cool down, and follow all changng nstructons.• Reset the "Lamp Hour Reset" functon from the Onscreen dsplay "Management" menu after replacng the lamp module.• Do not attempt to dsassemble ths projector. There are dangerous hgh voltages nsde whch may hurt you. The only user servceable part is the lamp which has its own removable cover. Refer servicing only to suitable qualified professional service personnel.• Do not stand the projector on end vertcally. It may cause the projector to fall over, causng njury or damage.• Ths product s capable of dsplayng nverted mages for celng mount nstallaton. Only use acer celng mount kt for mountng the projector and ensure t s securely nstalled.
     Caution for ListeningTo protect your hearng, follow these nstructons.• Increase the volume gradually untl you can hear clearly and comfortably. • Do not ncrease the volume level after your ears have adjusted.• Do not lsten to musc at hgh volumes for extended perods.• Do not ncrease the volume to block out nosy surroundngs.• Decrease the volume f you can't hear people speakng near you.

    Installing the Battery
    1.  Remove the battery cover. (llustraton  #1~3)2.  Insert the battery wth the electrcal contact facng downward and away from the lens. (illustration  #4)3.     How to Use the Menu

    Contrast: adjust contrast
    Brght mode: Full LED power.
    STD mode: Standard LED power.
    H. Poston: adjust the horzontal poston.
    V. Position: adjust the vertcal poston.
    Frequency: change the dsplay data frequency to match the frequency of your computer’s graphc card. Use ths funct on only f the mage appears to flicker vertcally.
    Phase: synchronze the sgnal tmng of the dsplay wth the graphc card. If the mage appears to be unstable or flickers, use ths functon to correct t.

    Usng MPtG Converter Tool
    Photo Setting
    Sldeshow Duraton Tmer: Select duraton of sldeshow (Off, 2 sec., 5 sec., 10 sec.).
    Sldeshow Repeat: Enable sldeshow repeat (Off, On).
    Video Setting
    Play Mode: Select play mode (Once, Repeat, Repeat Once).
    System Setting
    Language: Select preferred language for on-screen menus.
    Brghtness: Select LED mode (STD, ECO).
    Projecton: Select the projecton mode (Front Desktop, Rear Desktop, Front Inverted, Rear Inverted).
    Version: Displays firmware version.
    To nstall converter tool: 1. Connect the projector for data transfer.2. Browse nternal memory of Projector (lke a USB memory stck) to download converter “mptg.exe” from a folder “Converter”.3. Execute the file "mptg.exe" on your PC/NB, and follow the onscreen instructions to finish installation.
    Click converter to select a PowerPoint or PDF files and start conversion. The tool will transfer PowerPoint/PDF files to MPtG format. You can copy all of converted results n meda (ex. USB drve) you have and play MPtG files on Presentation mode of Projector. 
    Download MPtG converter tool from nternal memory of projector. You can use this tool to transfer PPT/PDF files to projector.

    Troubleshooting
    If you experence a problem wth your Acer projector, refer to the followng troubleshootng gude. If the problem perssts, please contact your local reseller or servce center. 
    Image Problems and Solutions

    Ensure the cables/charger/battery are correctly and securely connected.
    •    Ensure the pns of connectors are 
    not crooked or broken.
    •    Make sure the projector  s swtched

    Adjust the Focus Dal.
    •    Make sure the projecton screen 
    s between the requred dstance 
    9.6 to 126.6 inches (0.245 to 3.215 meters) from the projector.
    3 Image s too small or too large •   
    Move the projector closer to or further from the screen.
    4Image s reversed •   
    Select “Source --> Settngs --> System Setup -->  Projecton” from 
    the OSD and adjust the projecton 
    drecton.
