    							 SAFETY INFORMATION
Before the installation and use of the ap-
pliance, carefully read the supplied in-
structions. The manufacturer is not re-
sponsible if an incorrect installation and
use causes injuries and damages. Always
keep the instructions with the appliance
    for future reference.
    CHILDREN AND VULNERABLE
    PEOPLE SAFETY
    WARNING!
Risk of suffocation, injury or per-
    manent disability.
    • Do not let persons, children included,
    with reduced physical sensory, reduced
mental functions or lack of experience
and knowledge use the appliance. They
must have supervision or instruction for
the operation of the appliance by a per-
son who is responsible for their safety.
    • Do not let children play with the appli-
    ance.
    • Keep all packaging away from children.
    • Keep all detergents away from children.
    • Keep children and pets away from the
appliance door when it is open.
    • If the appliance has a child safety de-
vice, we recommend you activate it.
    CHILD SAFETY DEVICE
    • When you activate this device, you can-
not close the door. This prevents chil-
dren or pets to be closed in the drum.
To activate the device, turn it clockwise,
until the groove is horizontal. To deacti-
vate the device, turn it counterclock-
wise, until the groove is vertical.
    GENERAL SAFETY
    • Do not use the appliance for professio-
nal use. The appliance is only for do-
    mestic use.
    • Do not change the specifications of this
appliance. There is the risk of injury and
    damage to the appliance.
    • Do not dry not washed items in the ap-
    pliance.
    • Do not use the drying programme if
you have used industrial chemicals for
    cleaning.
    • When you load the appliance make
sure that no gas lighters or matches are
accidentally left in the garments pock-
    ets .
    • Wash in hot water with extra detergent
before you dry the items that have
stains of substances such as cooking oil
    acetone, petrol, kerosene, spot remov-
ers, turpentine, waxes and wax remov-
    ers .
    • Do not dry in this appliance items such
as foam rubber (latex foam), shower
caps, waterproof textiles (if there is no
    special drying programme), rubber
backed articles and clothes or pillows
    fitted with foam rubber pads.
    • Oil-affected items can ignite spontane-
ously, especially when exposed to heat
sources such as in a drying programme.
The items become warm, causing an
oxidation reaction in the oil. Oxidation
creates heat. If the heat cannot escape,
the items can become hot enough to
catch fire. Piling, stacking or storing oil-
affected items can prevent heat from
escaping and so create a fire hazard.
If you can not avoid that you dry fabrics
that contain vegetable or cooking oil or
    products contaminated by hair care,
first wash them in hot water with extra
detergent - this will reduce, but not
    eliminate, the hazard.
The final part of the drying programme
occurs without heat (cool down cycle)
to ensure that the items are left at a
temperature that ensures that items will
    not be damaged.
    • Do not install the appliance behind a
lockable door, a sliding door, a door

    softener manufacturer.

tion do not stop the drying programme
before the end of the drying cycle un-

spread out so that the heat is dissipa-
