    a  c orre spondin g R PM  d ependent “O ilP re ssP ro te ct” 1 D  T able  th at n eeds to  b e s et u p a s w ell.  W hen th e
    o il  p re ssure  fa lls  b elo w  th is  s et v a lu e, th e O il  P re ss P ro te ct fe atu re  w ill  b e a ctiv a te d.
    R ath er th an O BD2 d ia gnostic s, th e E M L-E ngin e M alfu nctio n L am p o n th e d ash w arn s th e d riv e r if  th e
    “ D BW _E rro r_ F ata l”  h as b een a ctiv a te d. If  th is  h appens, th e e ngin e w ill  b e s hut d ow n fo r s afe ty  a nd th e
    e rro r w ill  re set w hen th e ig nit io n k ey is  c ycle d a nd th e c ondit io n th at c aused th e e rro r is  n o lo nger
    p re sent.
    T he c oola nt te m pera tu re  g auge’s  re d w arn in g L E D, lo cate d in  th e B M W  g auge c lu ste r, is  p ro gra m mable .
    W hen th e c oola nt e xceeds th e v a lu e e nte re d in  th e c hannel  “C oola ntH ig hLE DLim it ” th e L E D w ill
    i llu m in ate  (d efa ult  =  1 00C ).  
    The 4 000–9 000R PM  re d a nd y ello w  ta chom ete r L E Ds (s how n)
    w ill  n ow  a lw ays m atc h th e c urre nt R PM  lim it e r. F or e xam ple , if
    t h e 2 -s te p re v lim it e r is  a ctiv e  a nd ta rg etin g 5 000R PM , th e
    t a chom ete r L E Ds w ill  m ove  th e d is pla yed “re dlin e” to  5 000R PM .
    T his  h appens e ve n if  th e e ngin e is  id lin g a nd n ot a ctiv e ly
    b angin g a gain st th e 2 -s te p lim it e r. If  th e 2 -s te p re v lim it e r is
    O FF, b ut th e m ain  re v lim it e r is  s et to  7 000R PM , th e L E Ds w ill
    s how  th e d is pla yed “re dlin e” a t 7 000R PM . If  th e 3 -s te p re v
    l im it e r tu rn s O N a nd c hanges th e ta rg et re v lim it e r to  6 500R PM ,
    t h e L E Ds w ill  s how  th e d is pla yed “re dlin e” a t 6 500R PM . 
    T he m ain  re v lim it e r is  c onfig ura ble  in  th e s etu p w iz ard . T he 2 -
    s te p a nd 3 -s te p re v lim it e rs  a re  c onfig ura ble  in  th e s etu p w iz ard
    a nd in  c orre spondin g ta ble s. K eep in  m in d, th ere  a re  fu el  c uts ,
