How to Factory Default the VC‐SYS‐HT0802 TVI‐DVR Step 1: Remove the DVR cover and locate the main board. Locate the jumper pinholes as indicated by the yellow square as shown below in figure 1. (TP4 and TP5) Figure 1 Step 2: Disconnect power to the DVR. Next you will need to make the chip resistor short‐circuited with a conductive object. While shorting the resistor, re‐connect the power. NOTE: You can use any metal tool or object that can conduct current in order to short‐circuit the resistor. Remove the conductive object when you hear a short beep sound, and wait till the DVR reboots. Your DVR should now be defaulted to factory specifications. You will not lose any recorded data on your hard drive. Only the DVR settings will be reset to default. If you have any trouble with this, please contact Leadertech / AGI Security Tech Support.
