Setup - Stop Motor Time
This function will allow you to view and set the stop motor time.
1. In the Setup menu, use the arrow buttons (or) to select “Stop Motor Time”. 
The following screen will be displayed. 
 
2. Press OK to select. The following information will be displayed.
 
 
 
 
 
 
3. Use the arrow buttons () to toggle through the available options. Once you 
change a configuration option, remember to press OK to save it.

A.			Wait	HDD	 Time		
This function uses the specified wait time before automatically starting the function 
that was selected.
A1. To edit the Wait HDD Time function, select “Wait HDD Time” and press 
OK. 
 
A2. The following information will be displayed.   
 
 
   
A3. Use the arrow buttons () to toggle through the available options. Once 
you change a configuration option, remember to press OK to save it.  


B.			Copy	HPA	area		The HPA is a hidden data region defined in ATA/ATAPI-4. This area is not usually accessible to the operating system or software applications. The HDD Copy Cruiser High-Speed WL supports the copying of data from this hidden area.
B1. To edit the Copy HPA area function, select “Copy HPA area” and press 
OK.

This function will allow you to change the time and date.
A1. To edit the Wait HDD Time function, select “Adjust Clock” and press OK.

The Restore Default function will reset all settings to their original values.
1. In the Setup menu, use the arrow buttons (or) to select “Restore Default”. 
The following screen will be displayed.

Log Manager 
This function will allow you to access the Log Manager’s password protected 
Advanced Functions.
1. With the source and target HDDs loaded use the arrow buttons (or) to 
select “Log Manager”. The following screen will be displayed. 
 
2. Press OK to select. The following information will be displayed. Press OK 
again to access the Advanced Function menu.
 
3. You will be prompted to enter a password. Select characters by pressing the 
arrow buttons (or). Press  to scroll through numbers first. Press  to 
scroll through letters first. Press OK to move to the next character.

A.			Clear	ALL 	Log		
This function will allow you to clear all logs.
A1. After entering your password, the following screen will be displayed.



This function will allow you to set a new password.
B1. After entering your password, the following screen will be displayed. 
 
B2. To setup a new password, scroll to “Setup Password”. The following screen 
will be displayed.

buttons (or). Press  to scroll through numbers first. Press  to

Using the Aleratec HDD Duplicator Logging Software 
Please read this Software User Guide thoroughly before using this product.
Getting Started
1. Connect your HDD Copy Cruiser High-Speed WL to your computer using the 
supplied USB cable.
2. Turn on the HDD Copy Cruiser High-Speed WL.
3. Load the Aleratec installation and user guide CD into the DVD/CD Rom drive 
in your PC. Double click on Aleratec Logging and Monitoring Software from 
the menu and follow on-screen prompts to install the application.
4. Open the Aleratec Monitoring Software by double-clicking the Aleratec 
Logging icon either on your desktop or start menu.  
 
 
5. The main screen of the software is divided into two sections. The empty chart 
displays the   current ongoing process. The Log Data section displays the 
history of all processes.
