DP4KP 4K digital postproduction projector The DP4KP postproduction projector is the world’s first 4K DLP projector that meets thehighperformance demands for postproduction, archiving, restoration and 4K colorgrading. Ultimate image qualityTo respond to the highly specialized needs of postproduction houses, the DK4KP has beenenhanced with several new components. It is equipped with a dedicated 4K (4 x3Gb/s) input board which enables playback of native 4K content. Its wide color gamutfilter creates a wide gamut for accurate color matching. And thanks to its highcontrastlens, the DP4KP displays images with improved contrast. Dedicated software for postproductionWhat’s more, the DP4KP projector is bundled with a redesigned version of the BarcoCommunicator software. The overall look and feel of the Communicator interface isadapted to the dark environment in which it is used. Its intuitive menu structure is quickto navigate and all of the functionalities are conveniently bundled into a single section,which eliminates the need for extra training or additional tools. The dedicated softwareoffers a powerful input analysis and enables color correction per eye for 3D content. Powerful input analysisWhen combined with the quad 3Gb/s input board, the Communicator software is turnedinto a powerful input analysis tool that enables you to visualize the MSB and LSB via abitdepth analysis of the different inputs. You can also easily compare inputs through thesplitscreen analysis (diagonal, vertical, sidebyside and checker board). Thanks to thesenew features, you can do your job with an unprecedented level of accuracy.
