    							HDX series
The smartest projectors on the road
With Barco’s compact and powerful HDX projectors, the future is here today. The
high brightness HDX family combines full source flexibility with ImagePRO scaling
capabilities. Thanks to their Xenon illumination and their high contrast optical engine
these three-chip DLP projectors reproduce rich colors, presenting audiences with crisp
and vivid images on every occasion. What’s more, the simple user interface allows
you to set up the projector in no time. Finally, the HDX offers easy control through
    smartphones and tablet computers.

The HDX projector is the product of
    Barco’s extensive experience in a
    number of markets.
From the theater to the stage
3D has revolutionized and is still rocking
cinemas worldwide. As a global leader
in that sector, Barco has perfected 3D
projection for three decades, and now
brings this expertise to your event.
    Experience in events
Successive hits in the events market
with the SLM and FLM series have
    contributed considerably to the design
of the HDX projector. Barco conceived
each part of the unit with the best
possible event in mind. Thanks to the
top or bottom frame the HDX can easily
    be handled and rigged.
    Premium image processing
    The HDX shares image processing
    and scaling technology with Barco’s
    benchmark ImagePRO hardware. This
results in a quick adaptation to any
connected source. It also offers extreme
scaling capabilities such as zoom in,
    zoom out and shift.
    Designed for
    leadershipStay connected
Barco’s HDX is compatible with a host of flexible control options. As it has been
designed for wireless control, you can even operate your projector via your
    smartphone or tablet computer.
    EASY SERVICE
    Quick preview
The HDX’s built-in color LCD screen
provides you with all the information you need on your projector’s connected
    sources, status, power,
    temperatures and lamp
    runtime. The LCD screen
    also allows you to preview
    your connected sources.
    3G-compatibility
    The HDX has a native 3G HDSDI/SDI
input, which makes it compatible with
progressive sources over a single BNC
cable. This also means that the HDX
allows for digital inputs that don’t come
    through fragile DVI fiber cables.
    Wireless control
Barco’s HDX platform is designed for
    wireless control. Whether from one
central PC or with a smartphone or
    tablet computer, you remain connected
to the HDX at all times.

    							Trust in what
    you use and know
    Simple setup and maintenance
Progress in design means not just innovation, but also keeping the proven
    advantages of earlier solutions.
    Familiar interface
Not only are the lenses interchangeable,
the HDX also features the same easy
interface of its cousins, so you don’t
need to learn any new interfaces. Of
course, the HDX is also compatible with
    Barco’s free Projector Toolset software.
The key to a projector’s successful performance is already apparent in its design.
For example, the HDX-W12 is the world’s first projector to come with a xenon
lamp that offers a 2,500 hour lifetime, making it an interesting option for fixed
    installations as well as events.
    Efficient power management
When you switch the HDX into
    pause mode, its power consumption
immediately drops by 40%. Even when
it’s fully active, the HDX still consumes
    15% less energy than competing
    solutions.
    Who else is
    coming to your
    event?
Next to the HDX projectors, Barco
    offers a comprehensive range of
    high-resolution projectors designed
to turn any event or venue into a
    must-see experience.
    • CLM range: Bright, compact
    projection for the most attractive
    price
    • RLM range: The most affordable
    high-resolution three-chip DLP
    projector range
    • FLM range: The benchmark of
    high-brightness three-chip DLP
    projection
    • XLM range: The brightest event
    projectors around
    Reuse your lenses
If you already own a Barco SLM or FLM
series projector, you can simply reuse or
interchange these lenses and click them
into the HDX projector. This saves you
    from making unnecessary expenses.
    Only five building blocks
Barco designed the HDX with efficiency
and quick setup in mind. It features just
five building blocks that can be removed
and replaced quickly, so that time spent
servicing the projector is kept to a bare
    minimum.
    25% more compact
    The HDX’s compact and functional
design never takes up more space than
strictly necessary. In addition, it can
be easily boxed, shipped and fits into
    standard flight cases.
