Operation
Start up
1. Plug the power cord into the projector and into 
a wall socket. Turn on the wall socket switch 
(where fitted). Check that the Power indicator 
on the projector lights orange after power has 
been applied.
2. Remove the lens cap. If it is left on, it could 
become deformed due to the heat produced by 
the projection lamp.
3. Press and hold (for 2 seconds) the Power 
button on the remote control or projector to 
start the unit. The Power indicator light flashes

To set a password:
CAUTION: Once a password has been set, the projector cannot be used unless the correct 
password is entered every time the projector is started.
1. Open the on-screen menu and go to  Setting > Password. Select On by pressing 
Left 3or Right4.
2. When the function is activated for the first time, 
a prompt will display on the screen. Use the Up 
5 or Down 6 button to select a number for 
each digit of the password. Use the Left 3 or 
Right4 button to move between the digits...

Fine-tuning the image size and clarity
Correcting keystone
Keystoning refers to the situation where the projected image is noticeably wider at either the 
top or bottom. It occurs when the projector is not perpendicular to the screen. 
To  c o r r e c t  t h i s ,  b e s i d e s  a djusting the height of the 
projector, you will need to manually correct it 
following ONE of these steps.

Selecting an application mode
The projector is preset with several predefined 
application modes so that you can choose one to suit 
your operating environment and input source picture 
type. To select a operation mode that suits your need, 
press Mode. The picture modes available for different

Remote paging operations
You can operate your display software program (on a connected PC) which 
responds to page up/down commands (like Microsoft PowerPoint) by

Using the menus
The projector is equipped with on-screen display (OSD) menus for making various 
adjustments and settings.
There are 17 different menu languages. (Refer to page 4. Advance menu on page 37 for 
more details.)
