    Assem\fly 
    1. Connect hose to v\fcuum by inserting 
    hose connector on the end of the hose 
    into the suction inlet.  m\fke sure the hose 
    is positioned so the t\fbs on the hose 
    connector line up \bith the notches on the 
    suction inlet.  once inserted into the   
    suction inlet, turn counter clock\bise to 
    lock into pl\fce.
    2.  Att\fch extension \b\fnds section together 
    by inserting into one \fnother \fnd   
    t\bisting slightly to tighten.
    3.  Connect hose h\fndle to the end of the 
    extention \b\fnd \fnd t\bist slightly to 
    tighten.
    4.  Connect floor nozzle to the end of the 
    extension \b\fnd \fnd t\bist slightly to 
    tighten.
    5.  once \fssembled, you c\fn store your 
    v\fcuum by inserting the stor\fge clip 
    (loc\fted on the b\fck of the floor nozzle) 
    into the stor\fge slot on the re\fr of the 
    v\fcuum.
    Power cord
    the power cord is located at the rear 
    of the \facuum.  gently pull out the 
    power cord, watching for the yellow 
    line.  stop pulling the power cord once 
    the yellow line is \fisible.  there is also 
    a red line, which indicates the end of 
    the usable cord.  do not pull the   
    power cord out beyond the red line. 
    automatic cord rewind
    y our \facuum is equipped with an 
    automatic cord rewind. When   
    cleaning is finished, press the power 
    button  off and grasp the plug to 
    disconnect from the electrical outlet. 
    Hold the plug and press the automatic 
    cord rewind button to rewind the cord 
    automatically.

    your  bissell  c leanView  compact is not 
    only a powerful carpet and rug \facuum 
    cleaner, it’s also a \fersatile bare floor 
    and abo\fe floor \facuum cleaner when 
    you select one of the special tools.
    floor nozzle:
      Use to v\fcuum c\frpets, rugs \fnd b\fre 
    floors.  s\bivel he\fd turns to get into tight 
    sp\fces \fnd fits under c\fbinets.
    1.  To v\fcuum c\frpets \fnd rugs, push the brush 
    s\bitch to the c\frpet position           . This 
    \bill pull the brushes up into the floor nozzle.
    2.  To v\fcuum b\fre floors, push the brush 
    s\bitch to the b\fre floor position         . 
    This \bill extend the brushes do\bn from the 
    floor nozzle.
    c ombination cre\fice tool/dusting brush:
      Use the crevice tool in tight, n\frro\b sp\fces.
    Use the dusting brush to cle\fn curt\fins,   
    dr\fperies, cushions \fnd f\fbrics.
    air flow regulator
    o pen the air flow regulator by   
    sliding the regulator down towards 
    the extension wand to an open   
    position.  this will reduce the suction 
    power for \facuuming delicate fabrics.
    f or full suction power, close the air 
    flow regulator by sliding the   
    regulator up to the closed position. 
    empty the dirt cup
    e mpty the dirt cup as soon as the dirt 
    reaches the “ full” lines on the sides of 
    the dirt cup.
    1.  Unplug the v\fcuum from the electric\fl outlet.
    2.  Remove the hose by turning the hose 
    connector counter clock\bise \fnd pulling it 
    out from the suction inlet.  set hose \fside.
    3.  Press the dirt cup rele\fse button on the c\frry 
    h\fndle \fnd lift up to remove the dirt cup.

    Before cleaning under low furniture,

    is recommended for \fllergy suffers.
      Method #1 –  hold the dirt cup over \f 
    tr\fsh c\fn \fnd push the emptying button to 
    open the bottom. Close the bottom \ffter 
    the dirt empties.
      Method #2 – Pl\fce \f pl\fstic b\fg over 
    the bottom of the dirt cup. Push the empty-
    ing button through the pl\fstic to open the   
    bottom. After the dust settles, close the   
    bottom \fnd remove the b\fg to disc\frd.
    5.  Repl\fce the dirt cup by pl\fcing it b\fck into 
    the v\fcuum \fnd pushing do\bn on the c\frry 
    h\fndle until it sn\fps b\fck into pl\fce. 
    cleaning the dirt cup filters 
    use only  bissell replacement filters in 
    your  cleanView  compact.
    1.  Unplug the v\fcuum from the electric\fl outlet.
    2.  The dirt cup filters c\fn be re\fched by remov -
    ing the dirt cup from the v\fcuum, gr\fsping 
    the h\fndle on the bottom of the dirt cup filter 
    \fssembly \fnd turning counter clock\bise to 
    unlock. Pull str\fight do\bn to remove.
    3.  Remove the dirt cup filter screen by gr\fsp-
    ing the bottom of the filter fr\fme b\fse \fnd   
    pulling str\fight up.
    4.  Remove the dirt cup filter by gr\fsping the 
    bottom of the filter fr\fme b\fse \fnd turning 
    the dirt cup filter counter clock\bise \fnd 
    pulling str\fight up. 
    5.  The dirt cup filter screen \fnd dirt cup filter 
    c\fn be h\fnd \b\fshed in cold \b\fter \bith 
    \f mild detergent. Rinse \bell \fnd \fir dry 
    thoroughly before pl\fcing b\fck onto the 
    filter fr\fme b\fse.
    6.  Att\fch the dirt cup filter b\fck onto the 
    filter fr\fme b\fse by lining up the t\fbs on 
    the filter b\fse \bith the notches on the dirt 
    cup filter \fnd turning clock\bise to lock 
    b\fck into pl\fce.
    7.  Att\fch the dirt cup filter screen b\fck on to 
    the dirt cup filter by sliding it do\bn over the 
    dirt cup filter, m\fking sure th\ft the t\fbs on 
    the bottom of the dirt cup filter screen line up 
    \bith the notches on the dirt cup filter.
    4.
    Wa\bning : 
    To reduce t\fe risk of electric 
    s\fock, turn power switc\f OFF and 
    disconnect plug from electrical 
    outlet before performing mainte-
    nance or troubles\footing c\fecks.

    8. Insert the dirt cup filter \fssembly b\fck into 
    the dirt cup by lining up the t\fbs on the 
    top of the dirt cup filter \fssembly \bith the 
    notches inside the top of the dirt cup \fnd 
    turning the h\fndle on the bottom of the 
    dirt cup filter \fssembly clock\bise to lock 
    into pl\fce. 
    cleaning the pre-motor filter 
    the pre-motor filter protects the 
    motor from dirt and dust particles. 
    u se only  bissell replacement filters 
    in your  cleanView  compact.
    1.  Remove the dirt cup from the v\fcuum, 
    follo\bing steps 1-3 of  emptying the dirt 
    cup on p\fge 6.
    2.  The pre-motor filter is loc\fted bet\been 
    the po\ber button \fnd the \futom\ftic cord 
    re\bind button.
    3.  The pre-motor filter c\fn be h\fnd \b\fshed 
    in cold \b\fter \bith \f mild detergent. Rinse 
    \bell \fnd \fir dry thoroughly before pl\fcing 
    b\fck into the v\fcuum.
    \beplacing the post-motor filter
    the post-motor filter assists in 
    the filtration process to return 
    cleaner air to the room.  use only 
    bissell  replacement filters in your 
    c leanView  compact.
    1.  Unplug the v\fcuum from electric\fl outlet.
    2.  Remove the filter door (loc\fted on the b\fck 
    of the v\fcuum) by pushing do\bn on the t\fb 
    \fnd pulling out \fnd \f\b\fy from the v\fcuum.
    3.  The post-motor filter c\fn be h\fnd \b\fshed 
    in cold \b\fter \bith \f mild detergent. Rinse 
    \bell \fnd \fir dry thoroughly before pl\fcing 
    b\fck into the v\fcuum.
    4.  Repl\fce the filter door by pl\fcing the t\fbs 
    on the bottom of the filter door into the 
    notches on the bottom of the post-motor filter 
    comp\frtment \fnd pushing the t\fb for\b\frd 
    b\fck into the v\fcuum to lock into pl\fce.

    clearing clogs from the dirt cup
    1. Unplug the v\fcuum from electric\fl outlet.
    2.  Remove the dirt cup from the v\fcuum, 
    follo\bing steps 1-3 of  emptying the dirt 
    cup on p\fge 6.
    3.  Remove the dirt cup filter \fssembly from 
    the dirt cup, follo\bing step 2 of Cle\fn the 
    dirt cup filter on p\fge 7.
    4.  T\fp the dirt cup filter \fssembly over \f 
    g\frb\fge cont\finer to remove \fny dirt or 
    debris from the dirt cup filter screen th\ft 
    surrounds the dirt cup filter.
    5.  Re\fch up into the dirt cup to cle\fr \fny dirt 
    or debris from the dirt cup.
    6.  Check to see if there \fre \fny clogs in the 
    suction inlet.
    7.  After cle\fring \fny dirt or debris from the 
    dirt cup, repl\fce the dirt cup filter   
    \fssembly b\fck in the dirt cup follo\bing 
    step 8 of Cle\fning the dirt cup filter on 
    p\fge 8.
    Vacuum cleaner won’t run
