    area first for objects that might harm the unit 
    or block the hose.
    »   Hair, string and small objects can block the

    A Product ViewC Operations
    Power cord
    The power cord is \focated at the rear of the 
    \bacuum. Gent\fy pu\f\f out the power cord, 
    watching for the ye\f\fow \fine. Stop pu\f\fing the 
    power cord once the ye\f\fow \fine is \bisib\fe. 
    There is a\fso a red \fine, which indicates the 
    end of the usab\fe cord. Do not pu\f\f the   
    power cord out beyond the red \fine. 
    C1 - Automatic cord rewind
    Your \bacuum is equipped with an automatic 
    cord rewind. When c\feaning is finished, press 
    the power button OFF and grasp the p\fug to  
    disconnect from the e\fectrica\f out\fet. Ho\fd 
    the p\fug and press the automatic cord rewind 
    button to rewind the cord automatica\f\fy.
    C2 - Power button
    Turn the power ON or OFF by pressing \fight\fy 
    downward on the power button (  ).
    Special tools
    Your BISSELL C\feanView Pet Compact \bac-
    uum is not on\fy a powerfu\f carpet and rug 
    \bacuum c\feaner, it’s a\fso a \bersati\fe bare f\foor 
    and abo\be f\foor \bacuum c\feaner when you 
    se\fect one of the specia\f too\fs.
    Floor nozzle (12)Use to \bacuum carpets, rugs and bare f\foors. 
    Swi\be\f head turns to get into tight spaces 
    and fits under cabinets.
    1.  To \bacuum carpets and rugs, push the brush 
    switch to the carpet position 
     . This wi\f\f 
    pu\f\f the brushes up into the f\foor nozz\fe.
    2.  To \bacuum bare f\foors, push the brush 
    switch to the bare f\foor position
    .   
    This wi\f\f extend the brus hes down from   
    the f\foor nozz\fe.
    Combination Crevice Tool/Dusting 
    Brush (13)
    Use the cre\bice too\f in tight, narrow spaces.
    Use the dusting brush to c\fean curtains, 
    draperies, cushions and fabrics.
    Pet TurboBrush™ Tool (1\b)  
    (select models only)
    Use rotating brush action for sma\f\f, f\fat areas 
    such as cushions and beds.
    NOTE: Press down gently and pull toward 
    you in a raking motion. Too much pressure 
    will cause the brush to stop rotating.
    B Assembly
    1. Connect hose to \bacuum by inserting hose 
    connector on the end of the hose into the 
    suction in\fet. Make sure the hose is posi-
    tioned so the tabs on the hose connector 
    \fine up with the notches on the suction in\fet. 
    Once inserted into the suction in\fet, turn 
    counter c\fockwise to \fock into p\face.
    2.  Attach extension wands section together 
    by inserting into one another and twisting 
    s\fight\fy to tighten.
    3.  Connect hose hand\fe to the end of the 
    extention wand and twist s\fight\fy to tighten.
    4.  Connect f\foor nozz\fe to the end of the 
    extension wand and twist s\fight\fy to tighten.
    5.  Once assemb\fed, you can store your   
    \bacuum by inserting the storage c\fip   
    (\focated on the back of the f\foor nozz\fe) into 
    the storage s\fot on the rear of the \bacuum.

    Do not plug in your cleaner until you have 
    completely assembled it per the following 
    instructions and are familiar with all instructions 
    and operating procedures.
    Be careful to avoid injury as cord retracts very quickly.
    Plastic film can be dangerous. To avoid danger of 
    suffocation, keep away from babies and children.
    Before using your vacuum, make sure that the dirt 
    cup and all filters are in place. Do not operate your 
    vacuum without the dirt cup and filters.

    Air flow regulator (2)
    Open the air f\fow regu\fator by s\fiding the 
    regu\fator up towards the extension wand to 
    an open position. This wi\f\f reduce the suction 
    power for \bacuuming de\ficate fabrics.
    For fu\f\f suction power, c\fose the air f\fow 
    regu\fator by s\fiding the regu\fator down to 
    the c\fosed position. 
    D Care & Storage
    D1 - Empty the dirt cup
    Empty the dirt cup as soon as the dirt  
    reaches the “FULL” \fines on the sides of   
    the dirt cup.
    1.  Unp\fug the \bacuum from the e\fectrica\f 
    out\fet.
    2.  Remo\be the hose by turning the hose   
    connector counter c\fockwise and pu\f\fing it 
    out from the suction in\fet. Set hose aside.
    3.  Press the dirt cup re\fease button on   
    the carry hand\fe and \fift up to remo\be the 
    dirt cup.
    4.  Choose an emptying method. Method   
    #2 is recommended for a\f\fergy suffers.
        \fethod #1 – Ho\fd the dirt cup o\ber a 
    rubbish bin and push the emptying   
    button to open the bottom. C\fose the 
    bottom after the dirt empties.
       \fethod #2 – P\face a p\fastic bag o\ber 
    the bottom of the dirt cup. Push the 
    emptying button through the p\fastic   
    to open the bottom. After the dust   
    sett\fes, c\fose the bottom and remo\be 
    the bag to discard.
    5.  Rep\face the dirt cup by p\facing it back 
    into the \bacuum and pushing down on the 
    carry hand\fe unti\f it snaps back into p\face. 
    D2 - Cleaning the dirt cup filter 
    Use on\fy BISSELL rep\facement fi\fters in   
    your \bacuum.
    1.  Unp\fug the \bacuum from the e\fectrica\f 
    out\fet.
    2.  The dirt cup fi\fters can be reached by 
    remo\bing the dirt cup from the \bacuum, 
    grasping the hand\fe on the bottom of the 
    dirt cup fi\fter assemb\fy and turning counter 
    c\fockwise to un\fock. Pu\f\f straight down to 
    remo\be.
    3.  Remo\be the dirt cup fi\fter screen by 
    grasping the bottom of the fi\fter frame base 
    and pu\f\fing straight up.
    4.  The dirt cup fi\fter screen and dirt cup fi\fter 
    can be hand washed in co\fd water with a 
    mi\fd detergent. Rinse we\f\f and air dry thor-
    ough\fy before p\facing back onto the fi\fter 
    frame base.
    5.  Attach the dirt cup fi\fter back onto the 
    fi\fter frame base by \fining up the tabs on the 
    fi\fter base with the notches on the dirt cup 
    fi\fter and turning c\fockwise to \fock back into 
    p\face.
    6.  Attach the dirt cup fi\fter screen back on to 
    the dirt cup fi\fter by s\fiding it down o\ber the 
    dirt cup fi\fter, making sure that the tabs on 
    the bottom of the dirt cup fi\fter screen \fine 
    up with the notches on the dirt cup fi\fter.
    \b.   Insert the dirt cup fi\fter assemb\fy back   
    into the dirt cup by \fining up the tabs on   
    the top of the dirt cup fi\fter assemb\fy with 
    the notches inside the top of the dirt cup 
    and turning the hand\fe on the bottom of   
    the dirt cup fi\fter assemb\fy c\fockwise to \fock 
    into p\face. 
    D3 - Replacing the   
    post-motor filter
    The post-motor fi\fter assists in the fi\ftration   
    process to return c\feaner air to the room. 
    Use on\fy BISSELL rep\facement fi\fters.
    1.  Unp\fug the \bacuum from e\fectrica\f out\fet.
    2.  Remo\be the fi\fter door (\focated on the back 
    of the \bacuum) by pushing down on the tab 
    and pu\f\fing out and away from the \bacuum.
    3.  The post-motor fi\fter can be hand washed 
    in co\fd water with a mi\fd detergent. Rinse 
    we\f\f and air dry thorough\fy before p\facing 
    back into the \bacuum.
    4.  Rep\face the fi\fter door by p\facing the   
    tabs on the bottom of the fi\fter door into   
    the notches on the bottom of the post-
    motor fi\fter compartment and pushing the 
    tab forward back into the \bacuum to \fock 
    into p\face.

    off and disconnect plug from electrical socket 
    before performing maintenance or care.
    Do not operate cleaner with damp or wet filters 
    or without all filters in place.
    This product is intended for household use only and not for 
    commercial or industrial use. Vacuuming of dust from products 
    like plaster, concrete or ashes will damage the motor and void

    Clearing clogs from the dirt cup
    1. Unp\fug the \bacuum from e\fectrica\f out\fet.
    2.  Remo\be the dirt cup from the \bacuum,   
    fo\f\fowing steps 1-3 of Emptying the dirt cup 
    on page 6.
    3.  Remo\be the dirt cup fi\fter assemb\fy from 
    the dirt cup, fo\f\fowing step 2 of C\fean the 
    dirt cup fi\fter on page 6.
    4.  Tap the dirt cup fi\fter assemb\fy o\ber a   
    garbage container to remo\be any dirt or 
    debris from the cyc\fone screen that sur-
    rounds the dirt cup fi\fter.
    5.  Reach up into the dirt cup to c\fear any dirt 
    or debris from the dirt cup.
    6.  Check to see if there are any c\fogs   
    in the suction in\fet.
    \b.   After c\fearing any dirt or debris from   
    the dirt cup, rep\face the dirt cup fi\fter 
    assemb\fy back in the dirt cup fo\f\fowing step 
    8 of C\feaning the dirt cup fi\fter on page 6.
    Maintaining the Pet 
    TurboBrush
    ™ Tool
    The Pet TurboBrush™ Too\f shou\fd be 
    checked regu\far\fy for c\fogs or debris wrap-
    ping around the brush.
    1.  Unp\fug the \bacuum from the out\fet.
    2.  If the c\fog is present or debris is \bis-
    ib\fe, turn the co\f\far on the neck of the Pet 
    TurboBrush™ Too\f counterc\fockwise to the 
    un\focked position to remo\be the facep\fate 
    and c\fear any obstructions.
    3.  To c\fean debris from the brush, remo\be 
    the brush from the dri\be be\ft and c\fean 
    debris.
    4.  Reposition the dri\be be\ft on the brush.  
    P\face the ends of the brush in the s\fots on 
    the sides. Reposition the facep\fate and turn 
    the co\f\far c\fockwise to the \focked position.

    nents or products), at BISSELL’s option, free of charge, any defective 
    or malfunctioning part or product.
    BISSELL recommends that the original packaging and evidence of  
    the date of purchase be kept for the duration of the Guarantee 
    period in case the need arises within the period to claim on the 
    Guarantee. Keeping the original packaging will assist with any 
    necessary re-packaging and transportation but is not a condition   
    of the Guarantee.
    If your product is replaced by BISSELL under this Guarantee, the   
    new item will benefit from the remainder of the term of this

    The period of this Guarantee shall not be extended whether
