    If your appliance is fitted \bith a nonre\bireable BS 
    1363 plug it must not be used unless a 13 amp (ASTA 
    approved to BS 1362) fuse is fitted in the carrier   
    contained in the plug. (Spares may be obtained from 
    your BISSELL supplier). If for any reason the plug is cut 
    off, it must be disposed of, as it is an electric shock

    2 step process:
    notE: Remove cle\bn t\bnk from \fnit first.
    1.  Insert the han\fle into the top of the unit\b 
    making sure the spray trigger is on the wet 
    vacuum si\fe. Make sure the screw opening in 
    the han\fle is aligne\f with the hole in the   
    housing of the unit. 
    2. 
    Insert screw; gently screw in until tight with the 
    bo\fy of the unit.

    for use on har\f floor surfaces such as tile\b

    							Getting ready
    1.  Remove the clean tank from the machine. 
    2.   Unscrew the black cap on the bottom of 
    the clean tank an\f remove the Insert. 
    3.   filling the cle\bn t\bnk:
    Fill with BISSELL formula to the formula fill 
    line an\f fill with water to the water line. 
    Replace the insert an\f cap assembly. Place 
    the full tank back into the unit.  
    Inserting the Gentle Clean™ Brush or Pad
    the first time yo\f \fse yo\fr \fnit, the Gentle 
    c le\bn™  p\bd will be in the \fnit.  b\bsed on yo\fr 
    flooring type \bnd person\bl preference, yo\f m\by 
    w\bnt to ch\bnge to the Gentle  cle\bn™  br\fsh.  
    Cleaning for\bula section
    Keep plenty of gen\fine  bISSE ll H\brd  floor 
    Sol\ftions on h\bnd so yo\f c\bn cle\bn when it fits 
    yo\fr sched\fle.  alw\bys \fse gen\fine  bISSE ll

    Dry vacuu\bing
    With the dry v\bc\f\fm side of the \fnit f\bcing   
    forw\brd, t\frn the \fnit on \bnd begin cle\bning.
    y o\f will see dry dirt, cr\fmbs \bnd debris being   
    collected in the dirty t\bnk.   yo\f do not h\bve to 
    empty the dry debris before wet cle\bning.

    Operation
    Tip:
    When using a   
    Dry Gentle Clean™ 
    \fad, you may   
    \bant to get it 
    slightly damp by 
    squeezing the   
    trigger to saturate 
    the pad. This \bill aid 
    in the flo\b of \bater 
    and Formula   
    to clean sticky 
    grime and spots.
    Tip:
    When plugging 
    the unit in, make 
    sure to hook the 
    po\ber cord into 
    the Cord Clip.

    							Flipping fro\b dry to wet cleaning
    to ch\bnge from dry v\bc\f\fming, to wet cle\bning 
    simply flip the \fnit \bro\fnd to the wet v\bc\f\fm 
    side!
    t he Gentle  cle\bn™  br\fsh or  p\bd \bnd sq\feegee 
    will \b\ftom\btic\blly be lowered to effectively cle\bn 
    \bnd dry \bll yo\fr h\brd floor s\frf\bces.
    Wet cleaning/vacuu\bing
    t o begin wet cle\bning, simply p\fll the spr\by   
    trigger. W\bter \bnd form\fl\b will be dispensed 
    thro\fgh the Gentle  cle\bn™  br\fsh or  p\bd.  
    t o m\bximize the \bre\b to be cle\bned, it is   
    recommended th\bt the spr\by trigger is   
    sq\feezed on the forw\brd stroke \bnd rele\bsed on 
    the re\brw\brd stroke.
    t his will dispense w\bter \bnd form\fl\b going   
    forw\brd \bnd on the p\fll b\bck, the sq\feegee 
    will le\bve the floor essenti\blly dry \bnd re\bdy to 
    w\blk on.
    Dirty tank is full
    While wet cle\bning, yo\f will see dirty w\bter   
    collected in the dirty t\bnk. When the t\bnk is f\fll, 
    the white flo\bt in the dirty t\bnk will rise to the 
    top, m\bking \b notice\bble so\fnd to let yo\f know 
    it is time to empty the dirty t\bnk.
    E\bptying the dirty tank
    Remove the dirty t\bnk lid. D\fmp the dirty w\bter 
    \bnd debris into the sink, toilet, l\b\fndry t\fb or 
    o\ftside. Rinse the t\bnk o\ft with w\brm w\bter \bnd 
    repl\bce it in the \fnit.

    Tip:
    While using the Flip-It in the 
    \bet cleaning mode, make 
    sure to listen for the change 
    in the sound to alert you 
    \bhen the dirty tank is full.   
    Tip:
    To make sure \bater 
    and formula are   
    flo\bing, squeeze the 
    spray trigger \bithout 
    the Gentle Clean™ 
    Brush or pad inserted. 
    You should see a light 
    stream of \bater and 
    formula dispensed 
    onto the floor.

    filter for lint and debris

    Maintenance and care\d
    Checking the filter
    While the dirty t\bnk is o\ft of the \fnit, remove the 
    ple\bted filter from the top of the t\bnk. Remove 
    dirt \bnd debris from the ple\bts by gently t\bpping 
    the filter over the w\bsteb\bsket or o\ftside.  
    t he ple\bted filter c\bn \blso be rinsed \fnder w\bter 
    to cle\bn.
    notE:  If the ple\bted filter is rinsed with 
    w\brm w\bter to cle\bn, it  is recommended 
    to le\bve it o\ft of the \fnit to \bir dry before 
    pl\bcing it b\bck in the \fnit.
    Cleaning the Gentle Clean™ brush or pad
    Gentle  cle\bn™  br\fshRemove the Gentle  cle\bn br\fsh from the \fnit \bnd 
    rinse \fnder w\brm w\bter.  
    Gentle  cle\bn™  p\bd Remove the Gentle  cle\bn p\bd c\brd from the   
    \fnit.  peel the p\bd from the p\bd c\brd \bnd toss in 
    the w\bsh!
    Re\boving wet cleaning nozzle
    Remove the wet cle\bning nozzle by p\flling t\bb 
    on right side of nozzle. Rinse \bny dirt \bnd grime 
    off the nozzle \fnder w\brm t\bp w\bter.
    t o repl\bce the wet  cle\bning nozzle, insert the 4 
    t\bbs \blong the bottom of the nozzle window first 
    \bnd gently sn\bp the wet cle\bning nozzle b\bck 
    into pl\bce.
    Storing the Flip-It
    y o\fr  flip-It c\bn be stored re\bdy-to-\fse, by   
    le\bving w\bter \bnd form\fl\b in the \fnit.  be s\fre to 
    remove wet Gentle  cle\bn™ p\bd before storing.
