    							Setacustomringtoneforacontact
    1.In the Contacts app, tap a contact.
    2.Tap .
    3.At the bottom of the EditContact screen, tap RingToneandNotifications.
    4.Tap a notification type, and make your changes.
    5.Tap Back.
    6.Tap Back again.
    7.Tap Save.
    Tip:You can also customize other settings for a contact, such as the notification volume level, and the 
    LED color that flashes on your device when the contact sends you a message or calls you.
    Searchforacontact
    Like other apps on your BlackBerry device, the Contacts app has a search feature that lets you quickly 
    find the contact that youhre looking for.
    In the Contacts app, tap .
    tTo search contacts from your contact list, just start typing. When the contact appears, tap the 
    contact.
    tTo search contacts from a remote address book (for example, your companyhs address book), type 
    the contacths name. Tap 
    RemoteSearch.
    Filteringcontacts
    There are different ways to change which contacts you see in your contact list.
    Viewcontactsbyaccountortype
    You can quickly filter your contact list, to see only specific contacts (for example, BBM or contact 
    groups).
    1.In the Contacts app, tap .
    2.Tap the type of contacts that you want to see.
    Hideasetofcontacts
    You can completely remove a type of account from your contact list. For example, if you mainly follow 
    celebrities on 
    Twitter, you might not want to see them in your contact list.
    1.In the Contacts app, swipe down from the top of the screen.
    2.Tap .
    3.In the ShowAccountinContactList section, turn off the switch beside the account that you want 
    to remove.

    							SortyourcontactsintheContactsapp
    By default, your contacts are sorted by first name, but you can also sort by last name or company name.
    1.In the Contacts app, swipe down from the top of the screen.
    2.Tap .
    3.In the SortContactsby drop-down list, tap a sort option.
    Shareacontact
    You can share a contacths details with others in .vcf format. This is like passing around a business card, 
    but digitally.
    1.In the Contacts app, touch and hold a contact.

    Troubleshooting:Contacts
    Mycontactswerenhtmergedautomatically
    Your BlackBerry device automatically merges contacts when iths clear that those contacts are the same 
    person (for example, they share the same first and last name, mobile phone number, 
    BlackBerry ID, and 
    so on). If you still see duplicate entries in your contact list, you can merge those contacts into one entry.
    1.In the Contacts app, touch and hold a contact.
    2.Tap .
    3.Tap the contacts that you want to merge.
    4.Tap .
    Mycontactshpictureschangesometimes
    If you added a social networking account to your BlackBerry device and youhre using a profile picture as 
    a contacths picture, then the picture changes when your contact changes his or her profile picture.
    Ihaveduplicatecontactentries
    If you imported contact entries using BlackBerry Link, you might see duplicate entries on your device 
    after syncing your device and computer.
    You can remove duplicates by merging contacts on your device, or by clearing your local data on your 
    device.
    To remove duplicate contact entries by deleting your local device data, do the following:
    1.On the home screen, swipe down from the top of the screen.
    2.Tap  Settings > Accounts.
    3.Tap .

    CAUTION:Clearing your local data will permanently delete any contact entries that you saved only 
    locally to your device.
    Clock
    The Clock app is made up of four screens. On the Alarm Clock screen, you can turn on or turn off your 
    alarm, set your alarm time, and add multiple alarms. On the World Clock screen, you can view the time 
    in other parts of the world. You can also use the stopwatch and set a timer from the Clock app.

    1.Tap  > .
    2.At the bottom of the screen, turn on the Alarm switch.
    3.Touch and hold the dial outside of the clock face.
    4.Slide the dial around the clock face to your desired time.
    Tip:The dial allows you to set the alarm for five-minute increments. To set the alarm for a specific 
    minute, tap the alarm time at the bottom of the screen. Tap the 
    AlarmTime drop-down list and scroll up 
    or down to adjust the time that the alarm is set for.
    Setadditionalalarms
    You can set multiple alarms to go off on the same day, or you can set additional alarms to go off on 
    different days at different times. You can keep track of all the alarms you set by naming them, and you 
    can set a different alarm tone, recurrence, and snooze duration for each alarm.

    3.Type an alarm name.
    4.Set an alarm time, recurrence, tone, and snooze duration.
    5.Tap Save.
    Tip:Once you have set multiple alarms, you can quickly adjust the different alarm times by touching and 
    holding any of the dials outside of the clock face and sliding the dial around the clock face to your 
    desired time.

    To cancel a snoozed alarm, tap the time at the bottom of the screen. Tap .

    Tip:The dial allows you to set the timer in one-minute increments. To set the timer for a specific minute 
    and second, tap 
    . Tap the SetTime drop-down list. Scroll up or down to adjust the hours, minutes, 
    and seconds that the timer is set for.

    Worldclock
    If youhre a frequent traveller or if you have friends and family in different parts of the world, you can add 
    cities to the world clock screen to quickly see the time in a variety of cities around the world.

    Tip:After you add a city to the world clock screen, tap the city name to check the weather in that city.

    Turnonbedsidemode
    When bedside mode is turned on, youhre not notified of new messages, but any alarms that you have set 
    will sound and your 
    BlackBerry device displays the time, dimly lit. You can also set the option to turn on 
    Battery Saving Mode, or to turn off wireless connections when in Bedside Mode.

    							Tip:When your alarm goes off in Bedside Mode, you can tap anywhere on the screen to snooze the 
    alarm. To turn off the alarm in Bedside Mode, swipe up from the bottom of the screen.
    ChangeyourBedsideModesettings
    When your device is in Bedside Mode, you can choose to automatically turn on Battery Saving Mode, or  turn off all wireless connections.
    1.In the Clock app, swipe down from the top of the screen.

    3.Do any of the following:
    tTurn on the BatterySavinginBedsideMode switch.
    tTurn off the WirelessConnectionsinBedsideMode switch.
    CustomizeyourBedsideModenotifications
    By default, all of your notifications are set to silent in Bedside Mode. You can change settings like the 
    volume level and ringtone to personalize the Bedside Mode profile, or you can choose to hear a 
    notification for only phone calls when your device is in Bedside Mode.
    1.In the Clock app, swipe down from the top of the screen.
    2.Tap .
    3.Change the Volume, Sound, Vibrate, NotifyDuringCalls, InstantPreviews, or LED settings.
    4.If necessary, to set customized app notifications that override the settings for the notification profile, 
    tap 
    CustomizeAppNotifications.
    Tip:To turn on only your phone ringer in Bedside Mode, complete steps 1-4. Tap Phone. Turn on the 
    Sound switch.
    Changetheclockface
    1.In the Clock app, swipe down from the top of the screen.

    Androidapps
    Get apps and games designed for Android smartphones and install them on your BlackBerry device 
    using the 
    Amazon Appstore!

    							Create an Amazon account or sign in with your existing Amazon account to search for apps and 
    download apps from the 
    Amazon Appstore.
    After you download an app from the Amazon Appstore, tap Install at the top of the screen. You can also 
    check out the 
    Help screen in the Amazon Appstore for more info.
    DownloadingandinstallingAndroidappsfromothersources
    In addition to using BlackBerry World and the Amazon Appstore to download apps and games, you can 
    also get 
    Android apps and games from various third-party websites and mobile market apps. Most 
    websites and mobile market apps include an installation button that appears after you download an 
    Android app file. You can also install an app file by opening it in the File Manager app on your 
    BlackBerry device.
    If you canht find an app file that you downloaded, you can search for the app name in the File Manager 
    app. Most 
    Android apps include the file name extension .apk. To search for all the Android app files that 
    you downloaded, try searching the File Manager app for 
    apk.
    CAUTION:
    Apps that you install from sources other than BlackBerry World might not be reviewed by BlackBerry. 
    These apps might pose a risk to your device and personal data. You should only install apps from 
    trusted sources.
    While most apps designed for Android smartphones can be installed and opened on BlackBerry devices, 
    some apps might make use of services that are not supported by 
    BlackBerry 10 OS. BlackBerry 10 OS 
    might also replace these services with alternate services (such as mapping services).
    If you donht want to accept these potential risks and limitations, you should not install apps from sources 
    other than 
    BlackBerry World.

    2.Tap  Settings > AppManager > InstallingApps.

    tTo allow the installation of Android apps from sources other than the Amazon Appstore, turn on 
    the

    tTo inspect Android apps and identify apps that are potentially harmful to your device or data, turn 
    on the 
    InspectAppsBeforeInstalling switch.

    In Android apps, you can show or hide an action bar at the bottom of the screen or you can quickly go 
    back to the previous screen.

    Keep moving in the right direction with BlackBerry Maps, GPS, and the Compass app. You can search 
    for points of interest, get turn-by-turn directions, and much more.

    In BlackBerry Maps, you can add pins to your map to track where youhre going or to mark points of 
    interest.
    In the Maps app, do one of the following:

    To clear all of the pins from a map, on the map screen, tap  > .
    Getdirections
    Verify that location services are turned on and that your BlackBerry device has established a GPS 
    connection.
    1.In the Maps app, find a place by doing one of the following:
    tOn the map screen, search for an address or a place using the search field. In the search results,  tap a place.
    tOn the map screen, locate a pin that you added to the map. Tap the pin.
    tOn the map screen, tap  > . Tap Recents, Favorites, or Contacts. Tap an address, a place, 
    or a contact.

    3.To begin receiving turn-by-turn directions, tap .
    To stop turn-by-turn directions in the map view or detail view, tap . To stop turn-by-turn directions in
