Opening the cover
When opened, the cover forms a stand for the speaker.
 No sound is heard from the speaker unless  the cover is opened.
 When you close the cover, magnets hold it  in place. When closed, the cover protects 
the speaker.
 If you close the cover while audio is playing,  the speaker turns itself off. 1.
To open the cover, pull on the fabric tab 
imprinted with the Bose
® logo.

Placing the speaker
When using your SoundLink® Bluetooth® 
Mobile speaker II indoors, the tonal quality 
can vary depending on where the speaker is 
placed in a room. When moving the speaker 
around within a room or from room to room, 
keep the following guidelines in mind:
 The speaker is designed to sound best  when placed on a shelf, counter, desk, or
