The camcorder records the still image 
only after the focus has been adjusted.
   Set it to [ OFF] if you wish to record 
a still image as soon as you press  . When set to [ OFF], no 
focusing frame appears.
   Focus priority cannot be turned off 
when the mode switch is set to  .
   In the [ FIREWORKS] recording 
program ( ) the focus priority is 
automatically set to [ OFF].

automatically when the camcorder is 
powered with the power adapter if you 
leave it turned on without loading a
