Before Use
„Enabling the Sound Function to Use Audio

function is disabled by default.

Use the VB Initial Setting Tool to configure the camera 
network. 
To launch the VB Initial Setting Tool, double-click the 
[VB Initial Setting Tool] icon on the desktop.
The VB Initial Setting Tool will automatically detect the 
camera connected to the network and display the 
cameras MAC address, IP address and model name. 
The factory setting IP address is set to 192.168.100.1. 
The MAC address can be found on the label on the 
camera (“Installation Guide” > “Part Names”). To use a setting other...

Initial Settings
Once initial settings are complete, check the video on the 
camera with the VB Viewer. When doing so, set the 
computer network settings to comply with the IP address 
and subnet mask settings on the camera. 
The viewer launches and displays the camera video. 
If the top page of the camera does not appear or the 
VB Viewer does not launch, see “Troubleshooting” 
(p. 146) in “Chapter 7 Appendix”.
