Group Dialing
Group dialing allows you to store as many as 131 numbers under One-Touch Speed Dial buttons or Coded Speed Dialing 
codes.
Creating Groups for Group Dialing
The numbers you register in a group must already be stored under One-Touch Speed Dial buttons or Coded Speed Dialing 
codes. Each group is stored under a One-Touch Speed Dial button or a Coded Speed Dialing code. Create groups for 
group dialing as follows:
1Press [Menu].
2Use [ (-)] or [ (+)] to select...

feature is convenient when you know the other partys name but can not recall the One-Touch Speed Dial button, the code 
for Coded Speed Dialing, or Group Dialing where the number is registered.

The documents you load into the machine must meet the following requirements.
When loading a multi-page document:

■Problem documents

To prevent paper jams in the Automatic Document Feeder (ADF), do not use any of the following paper in the machine:
•Remove all staples, paper clips, or any other fasteners before loading the document into the Automatic Document Feeder 
(ADF).
•Make sure any glue, ink, or correction fluid on the paper is completely dry before loading the document into the Automatic 
Document Feeder (ADF).

1Fan the edges that will feed into the machine first, then tap the edges of multiple page documents on a flat surface to even the 
stack.
2Adjust the document guides to the width of the document.
3Load the document faced down in the ADF.

●Trouble With Multipage Documents

If you have any trouble in feeding a multipage document, do the following:
1Remove the stack and tap it on a flat surface to even the edges.
2Gently insert the stack into the Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) until it stops.

•If you have further trouble with page jams while feeding, see “Removing Jammed Paper from the ADF,” on p. 13-6.•Wait until all pages of your document have been scanned completely before starting a new...

Set the resolution as follows:
1Press [FAX].
If you are already in the Fax standby mode, you can skip this step.
2Press [Image Quality]. 
The LCD display shows the current resolution setting.
3Press [Image Quality] repeatedly until the resolution you want is displayed ➞ press [Set].
4Continue with the operation you wish to complete.
If you do not proceed with any other operation, the LCD display returns to standby mode.
