If the printer cannot communicate with the computer after the encryption type of the printer wasswitched, make sure that encryption types for the computer and the wireless router match that set
to the printer.

Changing the Settings in the Wired LAN Sheet

This screen is not available depending on the printer you are using.
•
Enable the wired LAN setting of the printer to change the settings in the Wired LAN sheet.

Start up IJ Network Tool.
2.
Select the printer in  Printers:.
3.
Select Configuration...  on the Settings  menu.

Click the  Wired LAN  tab.
The  Wired LAN  sheet is displayed.

Monitoring Wireless Network Status

This screen is not available depending on the printer you are using.
•
When using the machine over the wired LAN, you cannot monitor network status.

Start up IJ Network Tool.

Select the printer in Printers:.

Select Status on the  View menu.
The  Status  screen is displayed and you can check the printer status and connection performance.
