Harmony between form and function, the ideal between 
minimalism,  futurism  and  refinement  and  the  use  of  pure 
materials  such  as  aluminium  and  steel  reflect  Cineversum’s

|Luxurious Material
The cabinet made in ABS-PC, a material also used in the car 
industry, is a valour in itself. Beyond its extreme resistance to 
shocks, it also absorbs heat and noise, reducing the working 
noise level of BlackWing to 19 dB. Last touch, the car paint 
gives the Blackwing mk2014 Series a luxurious and elegant 
finish.
All accessories, such as the bespoke Ceiling Mounting Kit 
and Cine-Twist anamorphic Kit, are made with premium 
components and the most robust materials.
France is not only the homeland of luxurious jewelry, tasty 
wine and Parisian gastronomy. On top of a wide array of 
industrial strengths - amply demonstrated by high-speed trains 
TGV, Formula One racing cars, the Ariane rocket and Airbus 
superjumbos - France is at the cutting edge of technological 
research and innovation. 
The Cineversum technicians and dealers have been involved 
in the Home Cinema industry from its very beginning. Their 
long experience with the most sophisticated CRT installations, 
might it be for home cinema or for professional applications is 
a major asset when it comes to chosing and integrating the 
newest technologies.
The Cineversum engineers have tested, selected and designed 
the  finest  technologies  available  in  the  industry,  that  will  turn 
your home cinema room into a real little cinema. 
In our quest for the perfect design, we turned to our nearby 
environment for inspiration. 
The perfect symmetry of a merry-go-round. The gracious 
curve of the Montmartre Sacré-Coeur. The stark silhouette of 
the Louvre Pyramid. Inspired by these Parisian landmarks, the 
Cineversum range was born. 
In the flawless representation of each tiny detail and the life-like 
reproduction of colour we found our ultimate goal: perfection 
in home cinema.
French designer Antoine Béon wanted the Blackwing line 
to celebrate the idea of speed and precision with this 
unforgettable futuristic shape.

							|Cinema-like Performance
The association of the full-glass Pro Grade Lens with a superior 
3 chips L-COS 4K-ready engine (up to 150,000:1 native contrast 
ratio on the BW3) gives the best out of any picture. The new 
Dynamic Contrast feature can multiply the contrast by 10. The 
internal video-processor enhances the input signal quality and 
removes video noise.
The BlackWing projectors comes with 6 preset Picture Modes 
(4 on BW1). Personal settings can be stored onto one of these 
6 pre-configured profiles or the 4 blank user profiles.
On models Two and Three Cineversum added a THX mode, 
optimized for movie watching in a dedicated dark cinema 
room. Thanks to the new 7-axis HSL calibration, it has never 
been so easy to obtain a perfect picture.
An Expert Calibration Menu (via RS232) and CMS functions 
(Color Management System for color calibration) are 
accessible for the advanced Cineversum installers (not 
available on the Essential  model).
The improved  400 Hz Crystal Motion  mode allows more flexibility 
by featuring interpolation, black frame insertion and inverse 
telecine computation. Enjoy live events (sports, concerts, 
theatre) and TV shows with a true-to-life projection.

Cineversum is the only brand proposing three kinds of packs 
for 3D projection: Passive 3D packs, Infrared Active 3D packs 
and Radio Active 3D packs. 
|Extreme Attention to Details  
We at Cineversum give an extreme attention to details.
Every single unit is carefully checked and pre-calibrated 
individually. Each projector is tuned for a top performance and 
operationally life tested in the Cineversum laboratory. Its unique 
characteristics are kept in a Manufacturing Identification File. 
The  finest  measurement  equipement  is  used  during  both  the 
manufacturing and calibration/alignment process in the 
laboratory, in order to achieve the best possible projected 
picture out-of-the box and a long-term trouble-free operation.
But eventually, there is no robot than we trust more than the 
human being, and his delicate sensitiveness. 
As Frederic Laurenti - chief calibrator for more than 20 years 
- said: «in the end of the production process, I always submit 
the projector to the most accurate testing,  the ultimate judge, 
something that no instrument or computer could challenge, 
my human eye...»
Thanks to the new True Cinema Black II process of the BlackWing, 
dark scenes still remain very detailed and balanced, despite 
the amazing level of contrast. (not available on the 
Essential 
model).
Cineversum has proved as an expert of 3D projection at home. 
Watching  3D  content  on  a  flat-panel  TV  is  like  looking  into  a 
doll-house. Only the Blackwing Series can reproduce at home 
the immersive experience of 3D commercial theatres.

The optional Cine-Twist Kit is compatible with the BlackWing 
mk2014 series and the Cineversum Theatre  Screens.

Thanks to this proprietary accessory, you will be able to 
watch movies in their genuine cinemascope format on a real 
cinemascope screen (2.35:1). 
This recreates the ambiance and immersive experience of 
commercial  theatres  inside  your  home  cinema.The  benefits 
over a 16:9 projection are the use of all the pixels of the matrix 
(saving the 33% of resolution usually wasted in the black bars) 
and increase in brightness (+25%) allowing the use of bigger 
screens.
If you want to watch a classic 16:9 program, such as sports or 
TV shows, the Cine-Twist kit will pull the anamorphic lens off the 
projector.

Black  bars are  displayed  by  inactive  pixels 
when  watching  a movie  using a 16:9  format 
scr een.  They   imply a  consequent  loss  of the 
available  resolution. T
o  fully  use the projector  r esolution,  the active 
frame  is str etched  vertically.  Doing so, makes 
every pixel active  and the brightness  level is 
greatly enhanced.
In  THEA TRE Mode,  the Anamorphic  Lens  is 
moved  in front  of the  projector  beam,  just like 
in  commer cial theatr es, in order  to magnify 
the  aspect  ratio of the  pictur e back  to the 
original 2.35:1 movie for mat.
The  obtained  picture is extr emely  detailed 
and  being  projected  into a wider  format,  it 
allows the use of bigger sc reens.

Library
|The Master, a powerful all-in-one multimedia server
Have you ever dreamt of removing all these shelves buried 
under CD and DVD cases from your living-room?  Basically, 
that’s what the Master does. And in fact, it does a lot more.
Put simply, this server is the ideal solutions for people who want 
to replace a big disk physical collection with a single and 
relatively small box. Practically, it works a very simple way and 
does not require a ton of cables, the Master being in itself a 
storage device, a network server and a video player, all in the 
same time.
As a result, the Master server is ideal for a home-cinema 
room. However, it is not limited to only one room. Very easily, 
the system can be expanded with additional Players in each 
room where the customer wants to play his music or his movies 
which have been stored on the Master.
|A user-friendly interface
Very simply, the user can navigate his movie database on his 
TV or projection screen through a sleek and neat interface. 
The server library contains all his DVDs and Blu-Ray discs that 
have been copied onto it.
When selecting a video, a new page displaying all the 
information and artwork regarding this video will appear: 
cover, synopsis, directors, casting, languages, year, format 
etc. At this point, the user can either start playing the video or 
go back to the library. 
Even better, thanks to the application for tablets and 
smartphones (iPad, iPhone and Android devices) the client 
can  explore  his  movie  library,  filter  it  by  title,  genre,  year  of 
release and so on, or just do a manual research, all this in a 
very natural and intuitive way.
|Stand-alone device or multiroom installation
The Master can be the sole element of the system, that is to say 
that there is no additional Player. The display (TV or projector) 
and audio device are connected directly to the Master. Of 
course, an internet connection is required for the automatic 
scraping.
Or you can connect an infinity of Players to the Master via the 
1Gb local network (Ethernet) but, small constraint, the Master 
can  provide  flawless  HD  video  streams  “only”  to  a  maximum 
of 12 Players in the same time. The entire music and movie 
library is centralized in a single place, the Master, with a strong 
data protection thanks to the integrated RAID 5, making the 
management and the distribution of the library a child’s play. 
This is what professionals call “Multiroom”.
