    groundingpin.Thisplugwillonlyfitintoagrounding 
    typeoutlet.Iftheplugdoesntfitintotheoutletyou 
    have,contactaqualifiedelectriciantoinstallthe 
    properoutlet.

    Ifpermanentwiringisrequiredbyyourlocal 
    code,refertothefollowingprocedure. 
    Tomakeapermanentconnectionthroughthe7/8 
    holeinthetopofthemotorunit:

    THESAFETYREVERSINGSENSOR 
    Whenproperlyconnectedandaligned,thesensor 
    willdetectanobstacleinthepathofitselectronic 
    beam.Thesendingeye(withangreenindicatorlight) 
    transmitsaninvisiblelightbeamtothereceivingeye 
    (withagreenindicatorlight).Ifanobstructionbreaks 
    thelightbeamwhilethedoorisclosing,thedoorwill 
    stopandreversetofullopenposition,andthe 
    openerlightswillflash10times. 
    Theunitsmustbeinstalledinsidethegaragesothat 
    thesendingandreceivingeyesfaceeachother 
    acrossthedoor,nomorethan6(15cm)abovethe 
    floor.Eithercanbeinstalledontheleftorrightofthe 
    dooraslongasthesunnevershinesdirectlyintothe 
    receivingeyelens. 
    Themountingbracketsaredesignedtoclipontothe 
    trackofsectionalgaragedoorswithoutadditional 
    hardware. Besurepowerisnotconnectedtothegaragedoor 
    openerBEFOREinstallingthesafetyreversingsensor.
