plasticsaresusceptibletodamagefromvarioustypesof 
commercialsolventsandmaybedamagedbytheiruse. 
Usecleanclothstoremovedirt,carbondust,etc.

gasoline,petroleum-basedproducts,penetrating 
oils,etc.comeincontactwithplasticparts.Chemi- 
calscandamage,weakenordestroyplasticwhich 
mayresultinseriouspersonalinjury. 
Hthasbeenfoundthatelectrictoolsaresubjectto 
acceleratedwearandpossibleprematurefailurewhen 
theyareusedonfiberglassboats,sportscars,wallboard, 
spacklingcompounds,orpiaster.Thechipsandgdndings 
fromthesematerialsarehighlyabrasivetoelectrictoo! 
partssuchasbearings,brushes,commutators,etc. 
Consequently,itisnotrecommendedthatthistoo!be 
usedforextendedworkonanyfiberglassmaterial,wail- 
board,spacklingcompounds,orpiaster.Duringanyuse 
onthesematerialsitisextremelyimportantthatthetoolis 
cleanedfrequentlybyblowingwithanairjet.

[]Removesawdustfromtheinsidefrequently. 
[]Donotallowpitchtoaccumulateonthesawtable,blade 
guides,orthrustbearings.Cleanthemwithgumandpitch 
remover. 
[]Applyathincoatofautomobiletypewaxtothesaw 
tablestopsothewoodslideseasilywhilecutting. 
LUBRICATION 
Allofthebeadngsinthistoolarelubricatedwithasuffi- 
cientamountofhighgradelubricantforthelifeoftheunit 
undernormaloperatingconditions.Therefore,nofurther 
lubricationisrequired. 
WARNING:Toensuresafetyandreliability,all 
repairs--withtheexceptionoftheexternallyacces- 
siblebrushes--shouldbeperformedbyaqualified 
servicetechnicianataSearsstoretoavoidriskof
