    UpProjector NetworkE-MailAlerts
     You
    cansetupthe projector tosend youane-mail alertover thenetwork ifthere isaproblem withthe
     projector.
    
    1.
    Press theMenu button.
     2.
    Select theNetwork menuandpress Enter.
     3.
    Select Network Configuration andpress Enter.
     4.
    Select theMail menu andpress Enter.
     5.
    Turn onMail Notification .
     6.
    Enter theIPaddress forthe SMTP Server option.
     Note:
    Donot use these addresses: 127.x.x.xor224.0.0.0 through255.255.255.255 (wherexis a
     number
    from0to 255).
     7.
    Select anumber forthe SMTP server PortNumber ,from 1to 65535 (default is25).
     8.
    Choose anAddress field,enter thee-mail address, andselect thealerts youwant toreceive there.
     Repeat
    foruptothree addresses.
     Note:
    Youre-mail address canbeupto32 alphanumeric characterslong.

    When youfinish selecting settings,selectComplete andfollow theon-screen instructions tosave
     your
    settings andexitthemenus.

    Ifavailable, selectthePriority Gateway settingforyour network.
     7.
    Ifyour network environment usesanAMX controller, turnonthe AMX Device Discovery settingto
     allow
    theprojector tobe detected.
     8.
    Ifyour network environment usesaCrestron RoomView controller,turnonthe Crestron RoomView
     setting
    toallow theprojector tobe detected.
     9.
    Ifyou areconnecting toanetwork usingBonjour, turnonthe Bonjour setting.
     10.
    Ifyou want thisprojector toreceive broadcasted messagesoverthenetwork, turnonthe Message
     Broadcasting
    setting.Administrators canbroadcast messages overthenetwork usingtheMessage
     Broadcasting
    plug-inforEasyMP Monitor(Windows only).
     11.
    When youfinish selecting settings,selectComplete andfollow theon-screen instructions tosave
     your
    settings andexitthemenus.

    Controlling
    aNetworked ProjectorUsingaWeb Browser
     Once
    youhave connected yourprojector toyour network, youcanselect projector settingsandcontrol
     projection
    usingacompatible webbrowser. Thisletsyou access theprojector remotely.
     Note:
    Theweb setup andcontrol features supportMicrosoft InternetExplorer orlater, andSafari on
     networks
    thatdonot use aproxy server forconnection. Youcannot selectallofthe projector menu
     settings
    orcontrol allprojector functions usingaweb browser.
     Note:
    Ifyou setStandby ModetoCommunication On,you canuseaweb browser toselect settings
     and
    control projection evenifthe projector isin standby mode.
     1.
    Make suretheprojector isturned on.
     2.
    Start yourwebbrowser onacomputer connected tothe network.
     3.
    Type theprojectors IPaddress intothebrowsers addressboxand press thecomputers Enterkey.
     You
    seetheWeb Control screen.
     Note:
    Youmay need tolog inbefore youseetheWeb Control screen. Ifyou seealog inwindow,
     enter
    yourusername andpassword. (Thedefault username isEPSONWEB andthedefault
     password
    isadmin .)
     4.
    Toselect projector menusettings, selectthename ofthe menu andfollow theon-screen
     instructions.
    
    5.
    Tocontrol projection remotely,selecttheWeb Remote option.

    projectors powerlightturns blue.Thisindicates thattheprojector isreceiving power.

    Press thepower button onthe projector orthe remote controltoturn onthe projector.
     The
    projector beepsandtheStatus lightflashes blueasthe projector warmsup.Once theprojector
     is
    warmed up,theStatus lightstops flashing andturns blue.
     Warning:
    Neverlookintotheprojector lenswhen thelamp ison. This candamage youreyes andis
     especially
    dangerous forchildren.
     If
    you donot see aprojected imagerightaway, trythe following:
     •
    Turn onthe connected computerorvideo device.
     •
    Press theSource Searchbuttononthe projector orremote controltodetect thevideo source.
     •
    Press thebutton forthe video source onthe remote control.

     Before
    turning offthe projector, shutdown anycomputer connected toitso you canseethecomputer
     display
    duringshutdown.
     Note:
    Turnoffthis product whennotinuse toprolong thelifeofthe projector. Lamplifewill vary
     depending
    uponmode selected, environmental conditions,andusage. Brightness decreasesovertime.
     Note:
    When usingtheA/V Mute feature, theprojector lampisstill on.Toturn offthe lamp, turnoffthe
     projector.
