To shoot a self-portrait, rotate the LCD monitor as 
shown. 
R Self-portraits can not be taken using manual focus 
(P 50),  in  M or N mode, or when  P, V, or W is 
selected in SP mode.
 
R Rotating the LCD monitor to the self-portrait posi-
tion automatically enables Intelligent Face Detec-
tion (P 75) and eye focus ( P 75). The LCD monitor

RAW pictures store information on camera settings separately from the data captured by the camera
