    CAMERA BACKDOORS
Your HERO+ LCD camera comes with three types of backdoors.
The Standard Backdoor makes the housing
waterproof to 131’ (40m). Use this door to protect
the camera from water, dir t, sand and other
    environmental hazards. This backdoor reduces
wind noise at speeds greater than 100mph.
The Touch Backdoor enables access to the touch
display and provides waterproof protection to
    10 ’ (3 m).
NOTICE: To prevent damage to the touch display,
do not exceed this depth when using this backdoor.
Touch functions do not work under water.
In extreme altitude and temperatures, keep the
housing unlatched until you use the camera.
The Skeleton Backdoor is not waterproof. This
backdoor enables access to the touch display,
provides enhanced cooling, and allows more
direct access to the microphone. Use this
backdoor only when sand, excessive dir t/dust,
and water damage are not a risk. This backdoor
is also recommended for use inside vehicles.
