HILIGH T TAG Press the Settings/Tag 
button to mark key moments 
while recording to make 
them easier to find later.
Unlatch and open the 
backdoor. (The camera cannot be removed from 
the housing.)
Insert a microSD card.   (Requires at least a Class 10 or   
UHS-I microSD card up to 64GB,   
sold separately.)
Charge using the 
included USB cable.   
(The batter y cannot be removed from   
the camera.)
Press the Power/Mode  
button to power on the 
camera. 
Press the Shutter/Select 
button to start/stop 
recording.1

To change modes, press the Power/Mode   button repeatedly to 
cycle to the mode that you want. Press the Settings/Tag
 button 
to open the settings menu for 
the current mode.

Use when recording under water or in wet, 
damp or dirty conditions.
SKELETON BACKDOORNot waterproof—use in dr y environments 
only. Provides enhanced cooling and allows 
more direct access to the microphone for 
better audio.

TIP:  Apply adhesive mounts to clean, smooth sur faces at room 
temperature only, at least 24 hours before use. To remove, heat   
with a hair dr yer then peel off mount.

							Open the housing so the 
backdoor hangs downward.Pull down on the backdoor until 
it snaps free from the hinge.
Align the new backdoor with   
the hinge. Push up on the backdoor until it 
clicks into place.
GOPRO APP The free GoPro App enables full camera control, shot 
preview, content playback and sharing. 
GOPRO STUDIO GoPro Studio makes it easy to import, play back and edit 
your GoPro videos. You can download it for free at 
 
gopro.com/getstarted .
