    Antenna connections
If you are using an indoor or outdoor antenna, follow the instructions b\
elow that correspond to your antenna system. If you
are using a Cable TV service, see Cable TV connections.
Combination VHF/UHF Antenna (Single 75 ohm cable)
    Cable TV connections
For basic Cable TV service not requiring a Converter/Descrambler box, connect the
75 ohm Coaxial Cable directly to the Antenna Jack on the back of the TV.
For subscribers to scrambled Cable TV serviceIf you subscribe to a Cable TV service which requires the use of a Converter/Descrambler box, connec\
t the incoming 75 ohm Coaxial
Cable to the Converter/Descrambler box. Using another 75 ohm Coaxial Cable, connect the output jack of the Conve\
    rter/Descrambler
box to the Antenna Jack on the TV. Follow the connections shown below. Set the TV to the output channel of the Converter/
Descrambler box (usually channel 3 or 4) and use the Converter/Descram\
    bler box to select channels.
For subscribers to unscrambled Cable TV service with scrambled premium c\
hannelsIf you subscribe to a Cable TV service in which basic channels are unscrambled and premium channels \
    require the use of a
Converter/Descrambler box, you may wish to use a signal Splitter and an \
A/B Switch box (available from the Cable TV company or an electronics supply store). Follow the connections shown below. With the switch in the “B” position, you can directly tune any
nonscrambled channels on your TV. With the switch in the “A” position, tune your TV to the output of the Converter/Descrambler box
(usually channel 3 or 4) and use the Converter/Descrambler box to tune\
scrambled channels. This TV has an extended tuning range and can tune free access cable chan\
nels without using a Cable TV Converter box. Most
cable companies offer “premium pay channels” where the signal is s\
crambled. Descrambling these signals for normal
viewing requires the use of a descrambler device which is generally prov\
ided by the Cable TV company.

    							3D WARNING!
    1. Some viewers may experience various types of discomfort during or
after viewing 3D visual images, including symptoms like dizziness,
disorientation, eye strain/fatigue, blurry vision, headaches and/or
nausea. If a viewer notices any of these or any other symptoms of
discomfort while using the TV to view 3D visual images, the affected
viewer should immediately stop watching the TV until such symptoms
have disappeared for at least 30 minutes. If any such symptoms are
particularly severe or persist for hours or days after using the TV to v\
    iew
3D visual images, the affected viewer should consult a qualified
    physician.
    2. It is strongly recommended that individuals with epilepsy, people wit\
    h
any history (or family history) of seizures, individuals with heart di\
    sease,
pregnant women, and anyone who becomes nauseated easily should
refrain from using the TV to view 3D visual images unless they have
    first consulted a qualified physician.
    3. Children’s and teenagers’ use of the TV to view 3D visual image\
    s
should be carefully supervised. Because the visual development of
children 6 years and younger may be incomplete and could be
adversely affected by exposure to 3D visual images, it is not
recommended that they use the TV to view 3D visual images unless
their parent or guardian has first consulted a qualified physician.
    4. Using the TV to view 3D visual images for extended periods of time
is not recommended, even if none of the above symptoms have been
experienced, and all viewers should take regular breaks from such
    viewing.

according to the resolution of the incoming signal.
For example: when the input signal is 1280×720, a 720p image will be \

When 3D signal format is Side-by-Side, Top-and-Bottom, the image is

    respectively).
3D Mode: Format may be set to: Off, 2D-to-3D, Side-by-Side or

reduces block noise in the picture without degrading picture quality.
Aspect Ratio : Use the arrow button to choose the screen aspect ration \
