Finding your hardware and software information
Locating hardware
To find out what hardware is installed on your computer:
1.From the Start screen, type control panel, and then select Control Panel.
2.Select System and Security, select System, and then click Device Manager in the left column.
A list displays all the devices installed on your computer.
To find out information about system hardware components and the system BIOS version number,
press fn+esc.

Your computer has a hinge that allows you to rotate the display 360 degrees. This allows you to use
your computer in three modes: productivity mode, entertainment mode, or tablet mode.

until you can view the display (about 90 to 100 degrees).

Component Description
(1)  TouchPad zone Reads your finger gestures to move the pointer or activate
items on the screen.

Component Description
(1)
Power light
●On: The computer is on.
●Blinking: The computer is in the Sleep state, a power-
saving state. The computer shuts off power to the
display and other unneeded components.
●Off: The computer is off or in Hibernation. Hibernation
is a power-saving state that uses the least amount of
power.
(2)  Caps lock light On: Caps lock is on, which switches the keys to all capital
letters.

Mute light
●Amber: Computer sound is off.
