The suspend button contains a variety of useful functions and shortcuts,  
which lets you quickly launch tools, su ch as Calendar, Messaging, and Notes,  
and quickly perform common  functions like return to the home screen and  
memory cleanup.

Smart dialing
You can make a call by entering the phone number on the dialer or use smart  
dialing that lets you quickly find contac ts by entering parts of their names or  
numbers.
1. On the home screen, touch .
2. Enter the initials or first few letters  of a contacts name, or part of the  
contacts phone number. Matching co ntacts in your phone and phone  
numbers in your call log ar e then displayed in a list.
