ALLFIREARMSAREDANGEROUS PLEASEBECAREFUL Westronglyadvisethatyoufamiliarizeyourselfwithallthemechanismofthis, oranygun,beforeputtinganyammunitionintoit. Weprovidereasonablecareinthemanufactureof thispistol,butassumenoresponsibilityforitscare, handlinganduse. Neverplaceyourfingeronthetriggerunlessyouare readytoshootthepistol. SAFETY:TheSafetyisconvenientlylocatedinthetopoftheleft-hand grip.ByslidingtheSafetyforwardasfaraspossibletotheletterF,the pistolisinfiringposition.ByslidingtheSafetyfullytotherearofthe pistol,theletterSwillindicatethepistolisinsafeposition. CAUTION:Ifyoudonotintendtoshootimmediately,placetheSafety inthe S Safeposition.Donotcarrywithbulletinchamber. LOADINGTHEPISTOL:AfterloadingyourMagazine,insertitintothe bottomofthepistolhandleandpushitintothepistolasfaraspossible. Whenfullyinserted,theMagazineCatchwillhookoverthebottomof theMagazineandholditinitsproperposition.Takethepistolinonehand withafirmgrip,makingsureyourfingersarenottouchingthetrigger. PointYourPistolinaSafeDirectionandwithyourotherhandfirmly grasptheserratedportionoftheSlideandpullitasfarrearwardasitwill go.ReleasetheSlideallowingittogoforwardofitsownaccord.This procedureplacesthefirstcartridgeintothechamberandthegunisready forfiring.SUbsequentfeedingandejectionoperationsareperformed automaticallyuntilthepistolisempty.NOTE:Thesafetymustbeinthe Fire (F)positionbeforethepistolcanbecockedorloadedfromthe Magazinesupply.Magazinecapacity-6rounds.Werecommendstandard typecartridges. UNLOADINGWITHOUTFIRING;Alwayspointyourpistolinasafe directionandmovetheSafetytoSafe(S)positionbeforeattempting tounloadyourpistol.TounloadunfiredcartridgesmovetheMagazine CatchrearwarduntiltheMagazinecanbepulledfromthepistol,After theMagazineisremoved,pulltheSlidetothereartoremovethecartridge fromtheBarrelchamber.Asasafetyprecaution,alwayschecktheBarrel chambervisuallybyholdingtheSlidebackandlookingintotheSlide, ChamberandMagazinecavities. DISASSEMBLY:Thepistolmustbeinunloaded,uncockedconditionbeforetake downcanbeperformed.ToremovetheSlide,useabluntobjecttopushthe takedownbutton,locatedinthebackendoftheSlide,forwarduntilitstops (aboutAIinch).Whileholdingthetakedownbuttondepressed,gentlylifttheSlide awayfromtheFrameuntilitstops.Releasethetakedownbuttongentlyasitis springloaded.HoldtherearoftheSlideupandpushtheSlideforward,offofthe endofthegun.ThisprocedureremovestheentireSlideAssemblyandissufficient fornormalcleaningandoiling.CleantheBarrelwithinareasonableperiodoftime aftershooting.Afterthepowderresiduehasbeenremoved,givetheBarrelborea lightprotectivecoatofoil. ASSEMBLY:MakesuretheRecoilSpringisoverthebarrel.PlacetheSlide AssemblyovertheBarrelandpullrearwarduntilitcanbedroppeddown ontotheFrame.DepressthetakedownbuttonintotheSlidefarenoughtoallow ittodropintoitsslot.ReleasethetakedownbuttonafterSlideispusheddown ontotheFrame.YoushouldnotbeabletolifttherearoftheSlideaway fromtheFrameifproperlyassembled.Aftertheassemblyiscompleted, butbeforeloading,manuallyoperatethepistoltoseethateverything functionsproperly.
