Cautions for installation
• Install the TV in a corner, against a wall or on the floor so as to 
keep cords out of the way.
• The TV will generate a slight amount of heat during operation. 
Ensure that sufficient space is available around the TV to allow 
satisfactory cooling. See “Installation requirements” on page 3.

Initial settings (Setup tour)
When the TV is first turned on, it goes into the initial settings mode, 
and you will see the JVC logo. Follow the instructions on the screen 
display to make the initial settings.
1 Make sure to set the VCR/TV/DVD switch on the remote 
control to the TV position
• You cannot turn the TV on when the VCR/TV/DVD switch is 
set to the DVD position.
