When this unit is in the standby mode, pressing the but-
ton for more than 1 second will turn this unit on and cause
the [OPERATE] indicator to light up. (☞ Page 20)

Precautions for Using Batteries
Loading Batteries into the Remote Control
1Open the back cover
Press the back cover slightly and slide it in the direction of
the arrow.
2Load the batteries
Insert the 2 (AAA) batteries supplied according to the 9,
( marks. To prevent short circuit, be sure to insert the (
(minus) end of the battery first.
3Close the back cover
Slide in the direction of the arrow to close the back cover. Load batteries into the remote control. If the remote control starts to function...
