Computer connections   
You can connect a computer’s VGA connector to the 
M1-DA/DVI input on the projector using an 
M1-A cable.   
RS-232 connections    
You can control the projector from an LCD control p anel or computer by connecting an RS-232 
cable to the projector’s  Serial control connector.  
 
Displaying an image

Your projector has been factory optimized for    adj ust Picture menu options 
excellent performance no matter what the source.         including Aspect Ratio    
However, if you wish to make further changes you  
can optimize the image using on screen menus.     
Adjust the Contrast, Brightness, Color, Tint, or As pect Ratio 
in the Picture menu. See page17 for help with the m enus and these 
adjustments.

Using the remote control  
The remote uses two provided AA batteries. They are easily installed by  
sliding the cover off the remote’s back, aligning t he + and - ends of the  
batteries, sliding them into place, and then replac ing the cover.                                     
  Navigation buttons 
    
To operate, point the remote at the projection scre en or at the front of the  
projector (not at the video device or computer). Th e range of optimum  
operation is up to 30 feet (9.14m)....

TV screens are usually 1.33:1, also known as 4:3. H DTV and most DVDs are 1.78:1, or 16:9 (the
