Correct placement and adjustment of 
the monitor can reduce eye, shoulder 
and neck fatigue. Check the following 
when you position the monitor:
 ✦For optimum performance, allow 20 
minutes for warm-up.
 ✦Adjust the monitor height so that the 
top of the screen is at or slightly below 
eye level.  Your eyes should look slight-
ly downward when viewing the middle 
of the screen.
 ✦Position your monitor no closer than 
40 cm and no further away than 70 cm

1.4. About the LCD Stand Pin
The monitor’s LCD stand is secured during transport using a pin 
near the base of the stand. Please follow the procedure below 
to remove it.
1. Take the monitor out of the box and remove cushioning ma-
terial. Do not remove the pin yet. 
2. Place the monitor on a desk or other horizontal surface. Do 
not remove the pin yet.
