Land Rover Advest Leakage Stop Ansgar German Version Manual

Da ich die Rostmarken auf den Dichtflächen im Gehäuse nicht ganz weg 
bekommen hatte, habe ich beim Einbau der neuen Sche ibe 
(Staubdichtung) etwas Dirko zugegeben.    
As I didn’t succeed in removing all the rust marks  on the sealing surfaces 
of the housing I added some Dirko during assembly o f the new washer 
(dust seal).

Wenn sich der Lenkhebel partout nicht abziehen lass en will… 
If the drop arm refuses to move in any case…  
 
  
…lieber aufsägen und einen Neuen kaufen. Kosten nic ht die Welt. 
…better take a saw a buy a new one. It doesn’t cost  too much. 
 
        

…war immer noch schwierig genug, das Teil abzuziehen… 
…it was still heavy enough to withdraw it…   
 
  
Wenn sich die festgerostete Schraube des rack adjus ters nicht 
herausdrehen lässt (…was? Rost am Landy?...), Mutte r aufschweißen… 
If the rack adjuster screw won’t turn due to rustin g (…what? Rust on a 
Land-Rover?...), weld on a nut…  
       

…und hübsch machen. Ihr werdet sie bestimmt eines Tages wieder 
rausdrehen müssen…   
…and finish it nicely. You surely will need to remo ve it again some day… 
 
 
     
À propos Rost: nicht überrascht sein, wenn man auch  im Inneren
 des 
ölgefluteten Lenkgetriebes Rost findet. Passt irgen dwie zum 
Gesamtbild… ;-)     
À propos rust: don’t be surprised to find rust in t he interior
 of the oil 
flushed steering box. Fit’s the big picture, doesn’ t it? ;-) 
 
  
      

 
  
Zum Schluss ist es eine ganz gute Idee, etwas Kupfe rpaste an die 
Verzahnung des Lenkhebels zu geben. Auch dieser wir d sich dann beim 
nächsten Mal etwas besser abziehen lassen… und das  nächste Mal 
kommt bestimmt! ;-)  
Finally it is a good idea to put some copper paste  onto the cogging of the 
sector shaft. It will go off much more easily the n ext time you need to 
remove it… and this next time come for sure! ;-)
