2.  Slowly pull out the hinge pivot using a pair of tweezers until about half the 
pivot length moves out.

3.	 Detach the hinge frame at the left end,  turn the hinge frame clockwise around 
its right end so as to steer the batte ry FPC out through the supporting frame 
at the right end, and then remove the  hinge frame from the main body of the 
tablet.

1040 Vibrator motor 
For access, remove the following FRU: 
•  “1010 Rear cover ” on page 28 
1.	  Disconnect the power supply to the tabl et by detaching the battery FPC from 
its connector on the main  board using a guitar pick.

2.	 Desolder the wires of the vibrator moto r from the sub board at the position 
shown in the figure below.

3. Detach the vibrator motor from its seat  on the front module using a thin flat 
blade.

For access, remove the following FRU:
