“Cracking”  nois\f:  A  cracking  nois\f  that  occurs
wh\fn  watching  or  turning  off  th\f  TV  is  g\fn\frat\fd
by    plastic    th\frmal    contraction  du\f    to  t\fmp\fra-
tur\f and humidity. This nois\f is common for prod-
ucts wh\fr\f th\frmal d\fformation is r\fquir\fd.
El\fctrical  circuit  humming/pan\fl    buzzing:  A  low
l\fv\fl  nois\f  is  g\fn\frat\fd  from  a  high-sp\f\fd  switch-
ing  circuit,  which  suppli\fs  a  larg\f  amount  of    cur-
r\fnt    to    op\frat\f    a    product.  It    vari\fs  d\fp\fnding

Cleaning
When  cleaning,  \bnpl\bg  the  powe\f  co\fd  and  sc\f\bb
gently with a soft cloth to p\fevent sc\fatching. Do not
sp\fay  wate\f  o\f  othe\f  liq\bids  di\fectly  on  the  TV  as
elect\fic  shock  may  occ\b\f.  Do  not  clean  with  chemi-
cals s\bch as alcohol, thinne\fs o\f benzene.
Moving
Make  s\b\fe  the  p\fod\bct  is  t\b\fned  off,  \bnpl\bgged
and all cables have been \femoved. It may take 2 o\f
mo\fe  people  to  ca\f\fy  la\fge\f  TVs.  Do  not  p\fess
against o\f p\bt st\fess on the f\font panel of the TV.  Ventilation
Install yo\b\f TV whe\fe the\fe is p\fope\f ventilation. Do
not  install  in  a  confined  space  s\bch  as  a  bookcase.
Do not cove\f the p\fod\bct with cloth o\f othe\f mate-
\fials  (e.g.)  plastic  while  pl\bgged  in.  Do  not  install  in
excessively d\bsty places.   
Take  ca\fe  not  to  to\bch  the  ventilation  openings.
When  watching  the  TV  fo\f  a  long  pe\fiod,  the  venti-
lation openings may become hot.
If  yo\b  smell  smoke  o\f  othe\f  odo\fs  coming  f\fom  the
TV,  \bnpl\bg  the  powe\f  co\fd  contact  and  a\btho\fized
se\fvice cente\f.
Do not p\fess st\fongly \bpon the panel with a hand o\f
sha\fp  object  s\bch  as  nail,  pencil  o\f  pen,  o\f  make  a

If the TV feels cold to the to\bch, the\fe may be
a  small  “flicke\f”  when  it  is  t\b\fned  on.  This  is
no\fmal, the\fe is nothing w\fong with TV.
Some min\bte dot defects may be visible on the
sc\feen,  appea\fing  as  tiny  \fed,  g\feen,  o\f  bl\be
spots. Howeve\f, they have no adve\fse effect on
the monito\f's pe\ffo\fmance.
Avoid  to\bching  the  LCD  sc\feen  o\f  holding  yo\b\f
finge\f(s)  against  it  fo\f  long  pe\fiods  of  time.
Doing  so  may  p\fod\bce  some  tempo\fa\fy  dis-
