    GThe TV can receive video and audio signals simultaneously
    when using an HDMI cable.
    G GIf the DVD does not support Auto HDMI, you must set the
    output resolution appropriately.
    G GCheck that your HDMI cable is version 1.3 or higher.
    If the HDMI cables don’t support HDMI version 1.3, flicker-
    ing or no screen display can result. Please use the latest
    cables that support at least HDMI version 1.3.

    Sending the TV’s audio signal to external audio equipment via the Digital Audio Output (Optical) port.
    If you want to enjoy digital broadcasting through 5.1-channel speakers, connect the OPTICAL DIGITAL
    AUDIO OUT terminal on the back of TV to a Home Theater (or amp). 
    Plug the headphone into the headphone socket.
