5.  If the screen freezes 
If the screen freezes or the device does not respond when you try to ope\
rate it:
Press and hold the Power/Lock Key + Volume Down Key for about 8 seconds to reset 
your device. To turn your device off, press and hold the  Power/Lock Key + Volume Down 
Key for about 12 seconds. If it still does not work, please contact the ser\
vice center.

Charge the battery before using it for first time. Use the charger inclu\
ded with your device 
to charge the battery. A computer can also be used to charge the battery by connecting the 
device to it using the USB cable.

Installing the SIM card or microSD card
Before you can start exploring your new device, you need to set it up.
Your device supports the use of microSD memory cards of up to 2TB capacit\
y. Multimedia 
contents can be saved in the microSD card.
1  Open the SIM/microSD slot cover.
2   Slide the SIM card into the SIM card slot as shown in the  gure below. Make sure the 
gold contact area on the card is facing downwards.

3  If you want to use a memory card, insert the memory card into the microS\
D card slot. 
Make sure the gold contact area is facing downwards. Slide the microSD c\
ard into the 
slot until it “clicks” into place and then close the slot cover

Locking and unlocking the device
Pressing the Power/Lock Key turns off the screen and puts the device into lock mode. The 
device automatically gets locked if it is not used for a specified perio\
d. This helps to prevent 
accidental taps and saves battery power. 
To unlock the device, press the  Power/Lock Key and swipe the screen in any direction.
 NOTE: 
 
X Double-tapping on the screen also can wake up the screen instead of the \
 Power/
Lock Key.
