    							MDLP1
    Video Projector
    “Completingthe
    Home
    Entertainment Picture”
The MDLP1 Video Projector is everything you’ve come to expect from a
company with McIntosh’s unmatched reputation for quality and performance.
Designed as the ultimate centerpiece for a no compromise home theater it
features the latest generation Texas Instruments single-chip DLP light and
advanced processing circuitry that provides full 1080p HDMI Native input.
Unlike previous DLP projection devices, which relied on a 4 x 2 DLP device,
    the MDLP1 uses a 16 x 9 DLP light engine which matches the 1920 x 1080
HD picture, pixel by pixel. 16 x 9 images are displayed using 100% of the
light engine pixels. This HD native rate allows pure HD sources to be
projected without the need to manipulate the signal in any way resulting
in the purest most accurate picture possible.
A projector is only as good as the optics used and McIntosh engineers designed
in the Konica Minolta optics which yield a picture which is tightly focused from
side to side, top to bottom and out to each corner. By using mechanical lens
shifting the projector will be square to the screen even when mounted at the top
or bottom of the projected image. This assures perfect focus at screen top and
bottom without resorting to keystone adjustments which distort the picture.
The MDLP1 is shipped with either the Medium throw lens allowing distance
settings of 1.27 through 1.85 times 16 x 9 screen width. The long throw lens
will allow 1.85 through 2.78 times 16 x 9 screen width, allowing maximum
placement flexibility. Premium Konica Minolta Optical System
