  1.Antenna connector: With BNC connector type. A mobile or base station antenna
(adapter required) can be used to extend range.
  2.“Squelch” Control: For the maximum receiver sensitivity, the control must be
adjusted exactly where the receiver background noise disappears.
  3.ON/OFF Volume Control.
In ‘’OFF’’ position your transceiver is off.  Turn this control clockwise to switch on
the unit. Turn the knob clockwise a little more to set the audio level, until you get a
comfortable sound level....

J. DW: Illuminates when the dual watch mode is enabled.
K. AM: Indicates the CB mode is activated.
L. “F”: Indicates the function button has been activated. The function mode allows 
use of the modes inprinted on the function buttons face.
M. “M/1”: Indicates the memory channel selection.
N. SCAN: Illuminates to indicate the scan mode is activated.
O. WX: When visible indicates your transceiver is in the weather receive mode.

To program memory channel 2 follow the instructions for programming memory
channel  1, except substituting channel 2 for channel 1.
c. “M3 SC Button”; To start scan, set the squelch to mute the background noise. Press
and  release the “SC” scan button, scan will begin. The scan will stop on all channels
where a signal is received with enough strength to open the squelch. The squelch will
remain  stopped for a  few seconds after the signal disappears to allow time to answer

f. “M.SC  H/L Button”; To change between high and low power, press and release the
H/L button.
To scan only the 5 channels in memory locations 1 through 5, press the “F” function 
button and release, then press and release the “M.SC” button. To stop memory scan, 
press the up, down, or PTT button.
HOW TO OPERATE YOUR TRANSCEIVER FOR CB
1. Insert the antenna in the antenna connector.
2. Insert 6 alkaline or nic-cad batteries into the battery compartment, noting polarity.
