    30 seconds
    60 seconds
    120 seconds
    Dynamic

    Stored voice playback feature

    							3.6VDC NiMH battery pack
The battery lock is on the rear next to the belt clip. The lock can be
very stiff and difficult to move.
The battery must be locked or it will not stay securely attached to
    the pager.

    							General charging and usage
•A fully charged battery will run the pager for several days
    under normal conditions.
    • The NiMH rechargeable battery is rated for 500 charge
cycles. Based on a full discharge and recharge.
    • There is a battery level indicator on the top of the pager
between the knobs. Press the reset button to display the
    current battery level.
    •To achieve the longest possible
battery life, do not charge the battery
every evening. With a healthy battery,
charging every other day is sufficient.
It may be possible to go several days
    between charges under light usage.
    • Motorola product literature actually
lists a 10 day battery life.

    							DES Policy change
Chester County Department of Emergency Services
is now allowing agencies to make programming
changes to pagers owned by the county.
The Minitor V programming software is available free of charge from
    Motorola’s Web site.

If an agency desires to make programming changes to its pagers, it
is their responsibility to acquire the programming dock and cable.

Should changes in programming made by a department cause the
pager to not function properly and require DES to reprogram the
    unit, service charges may apply.

    							Chester County
    Minitor V Programming
If your agency previously had CCDES program your
departments pagers in a custom configuration, the newly
issued Minitor V pagers you receive will mirror that same
    configuration.
I.e. - Some departments wanted vibrate on “B”.
If your agency made programming changes that CCDES was
not aware of, the new pagers will not have those programming
    options.
Responders that have multiple station affiliations will need to
have additional tones added to their pager from the primary
agency. One responder should only have one pager, regardless
of how many stations they respond with .
