61 Important Information FPress the Y key. Hard Disk Data Erase Utility will start. (All of the screens below are only examples.) GWhen [] is displayed, press the Enter key. HThe approximate time required for erasing data will be displayed. Press the Space key. IAt the confirmation message, press the Enter key. The operation of erasing the hard disk starts. zIf necessary, the “hard disk data erase” operation can be cancelled after it has begun by pressing the Ctrl+C key. If the operation is cancelled before being completed, a part of data will not be erased. JThe message [Recovery] is complete will be displayed. Remove the Product Recovery DVD-ROM, and press any key to shut down the com- puter. zIf a problem occurred during the operation, an error message will be displayed.
